Nice work. I love the sound of the engine while you're driving and I see the car picks up speed quite nicely. I learnt how to drive when I was in JSS3 with a 505, this video brings back memories. Hopefully someday, I'll buy a 505 Evolution. Also, your car is really clean.

Such a sad news. Yesterday I was discussing CNG conversion with my uncle and his thought crossed my mind. I never met him but I remember how he was always willing to dish out info for free. I even watched one of his YouTube videos where he was testing a car he had converted to run with CNG. May his soul find rest in God's bosom. Bros YouTube is your friend. So many people burn data watching Nigerian movies, shorts and skits on YouTube but some others burn the data learning skills. I call it U Tube(U for university) because you can learn practically anything there

Bro, acquiring tech skills is practically free if you ask me, there's nothing you want to learn in Tech that's not on YouTube. Udemy does promo practically every week and you can buy a very good tech course for less than 10k. The only thing you will really spend money on is data and to minimize data consumption, you can always set the quality of videos to a low resolution. Certifications on the other hand can be expensive but you can be lucky to land jobs even without certifications in some tech skills and when you finally decide to may e take a certification exam after securinga job that pays in dollars, you realize the certification exam fees are not so expensive after all. It's the free fall of the naira that has made us term these certification exam fees expensive

My own advice has nothing to do with her lying. You mentioned that she is messy, I would never marry a messy woman because last last, it will extend from a messy home to poor hygiene and that will take it's toll on your mental health on the long run.

Good for you Bros, I wish you all the best. I still stand my grounds though, legit hustle all day, everyday, twice on Tuesday. I live in Benin City. As a techie, I hardly go out but even when I step out to get stuff, I see yahoo boys and girls doing shit, driving their big benzes and Lexus around, I've never felt oppressed with my 2005 Corolla because I know where I'm heading in life, my friend even gave me iPhone to do yahoo because he heard me speak in American accent once and was wowed, the iphone dey here dey waste. It all sums up to your self esteem.

Web/App Development
Mobile App Development
Ui/UX Design
Cybersecurity
Data Science & Data Analytics
Digital Marketing
Blockchain
I'm not saying it's easy, it's hard and requires grit and consistency but landing a tech job or building an app that ends up getting paid users makes it all worth it. I feel like we owe it to ourselves to change the narrative that Nigerians are scammers because we are amongst the most intelligent people on earth, the first black tech billionaire in the world is Nigerian.

I know you're just catching cruise, but let's assume you are serious here. I would advice that the time you'll invest into sitting in front of your laptop or pressing your phone can be invested into getting a tech skill. In the long run, it's better to be expecting sure >= $2000 every month legitimately than an uncertain $10k made from illegitimate means. Whatever rocks your boat though.

This question is like asking if the sun rises from the east and sets to the west and the answer is yes, all day, everyday, twice on Friday. You can never go wrong with a Camry, just make sure you do regular maintenance and it will serve you without issues for the next 10 years.

I know I might sound harsh saying this but they have more issues to bother about than you feeding your cat mere 200 naira egg. What they need to be thinking about(even the grandma) is how they can do birth control after the birth of the next child since they lack self control and the man's pull out game is not tight. In my opinion, it's only poverty minded people that keep giving birth to kids when they are going through tough times. Please feed your cat whatever you want without any apologies, I own a dog and I can tell you that she is more loyal to me than most of the humans I know.

Phones / Re: How Can I Get My US Imported Phone To Work With Nigerian Sim Card ? by determination26(m): 11:11pm On Aug 15
Don't mind those guys at computer village, they'll be charging for a service that, with proper research, can be done for little or no money . My phone worked right out the box but I've had phones that didn't work. I had an iPhone 6 that didn't work back then, I went online, searched and bought an unlock code for $1.50 and it worked after everything was done.

Phones / Re: How Can I Get My US Imported Phone To Work With Nigerian Sim Card ? by determination26(m): 6:18pm On Aug 15
You can try and get it unlocked. Most of the phones I've used over the past 10 years are from the USA. For some of them, you can get unlock codes which you enter into the phone(like *unlock code#) and it's unlocked, some work for Nigerian sims right out the box, no unlock/or unlock code needed while some won't work no matter what you do. The latest one I got is a Samsung A01 from Verizon, it worked right out the box, but the band I keep seeing is E/Edge which is somewhere between 2G and 3G. Good luck

Health / Re: Is It Worth Undergoing A Cataract Surgery For Myopia (nearsightedness) Treatment by determination26(m): 2:51pm On Aug 04
Generally, when dealing with your eyes or any other body part, you need to be careful. The issue of red eyes, I don't necessarily agree with that. I used to smoke marijuana at one point in my life, that was the only time my eyes used to be red, then I always had visine eye drop in my possession but over time my eyes began to react to the eyedrops because visine is actually a steroidal drug and excessive use of steroids is bad in general. I quit smoking years ago and I've not had red eyes ever since and I use contacts everyday. It's advisable to take them off everyday but I've slept with mine three days in a row sometimes and nothing happened though i wouldn't advice that. If you've never used contacts before, the few days might be weird but you will be too excited with the clear vision to really care then as time goes on, you get used to it. Irritations only happen if you do not take precautionary measures like washing your hands thoroughly before putting them in your eyes and removing them from your eyes, proper storage with the storage solution. I don't know if you are a man or a woman but if you are a woman you might want to avoid putting on those fake lashes if you use contacts because I've noticed that it causes irritation for women. I had ulcer of the cornea once though but that was my fault, I kept wearing severely damaged contact lenses for days without taking them off. If contact lenses are bad, you will know and they are cheap and easily replaceable. I get a pair for 8k and they can last me for a year as long as I'm carrful. Some people also complain of dryness of the eyes when using contacts, there are eye drops that take care of that.
Nutridelfarms:

This is awesome. Thanks for your sharing your experience. I might go for the contact lens option. I had thought about it but some friends do complain about red eyes or an irritation of some sort. They also mention how one must always take it off before going to bed. So I kinda thought contact lenses would be as much as uncomfortable as the glasses, but it appears that your experience is quite different. Do you experience some of these issues with contact lenses as well? Your feedback would be appreciated.
Health / Re: Is It Worth Undergoing A Cataract Surgery For Myopia (nearsightedness) Treatment by determination26(m): 12:06pm On Aug 04
I'm myopic also, the refractive index of my glasses back in the days was -11. I hated using glasses because of the discomfort and also back then in School, people automatically equated using glasses to being a bookworm so I was always bugged by my classmates in the exam hall. I've been using contact lenses for the past 22 years now and the good thing about contact lenses for myopia is that, unlike glasses which make the vision clearer but objects appear slightly smaller in my experience, with contact lenses the vision is clearer but objects are not smaller. You could opt for contact lenses, that will enable you wear your sunglasses conveniently and still have clear vision. I would also love to do lasik someday, but, to be honest, I would rather do any procedure that involves my eyes in maybe India or other developed countries and not in Nigeria because trust me, if research says there is 1-2 percent chance of things going wrong, the Nigerian factor of negligence and not paying attention to detail will always come into play and increase it to 20-50 percent chance. At the end of the day, I might just continue using contacts for the rest of my life and always just have a pair of glasses for days that I don't want to use contacts. You also have the option of photochromic glasses that gets tinted under UV exposure and comes back to normal when you're indoors.

Sure they do, I actually read the post from a nairalander talking about how he has been enjoying the unlimited 20 (20 for 20mbps download speed) from airtel. He stated that the router comes in two variants, an outdoor unit(ODU) and the normal 5G routers that usually come with a small power bank. I was reading as a guest and I didn't save the link to that particular post, it would have come in handy at this point. I don't know if it's just me, but lately, MTN data just seem like a bottle of fanta given to a toddler, it's exhausted in no time. I've spent 8k on data this week alone.

Don't Airtel supply the router? Would be silly if they don't.

To really enjoy your smart TV, you'd need to be in a situation where you never have to bother about how many GB/MB you have left in your data plan. I was reading on Nairaland recently that Airtel offers unlimited internet for 20k, but I think you might need a 5G router to enjoy the benefits, I'm not really sure so be sure to do a little more research or visit the nearest office. Starlink is also an alternative, I think the price of the setup was reduced recently to about 400k or thereabouts and monthly unlimited is 38k.
