instead of a traditional casket to bury his beloved
mother.
He also splashed the car with over 10,000 dollars.

The threat of oral s.ex is taking an alarming
dimension. Findings have revealed that youth and
young couples indulge in this sordid act. Giving
oral s.ex to a man (Mouth Action) has been proven to
be risky. The dreaded HIV aides could be
transmitted through oral s.ex.
Scientists believe it could cause cervical cancer,
and the pervasive but often silent Human
Papillonia Virus (HPV) has been finding its way
into women’s mouth.
ENCOMIUM Weekly spoke with some doctors who
were against the practice of oral s.ex as it is a
means of contacting deadly diseases. Although
the HPV itself is not actually cancerous, it can
only affect cells causing abnormal tissue growth
in the mouth, the lips, the tongue, inside of the
cheeks and the throat.
According to experts, detecting the disease in its
early stage can increase survival chances by 90
percent. Knowing how to spot the symptoms, the
virus occurs more in the genital area, if not taken
care of can cause cervical cancer.
The HPV is very prevalent in Nigeria and
instances of cancer are rising. The important
thing is that HPV does not lead to HIV as they
are two different viruses that affect different parts
of the body.
According to a study published by Nigerian
Medical Journal in 2015, there is a strong need to
raise awareness about the dangers of HPV and
the vaccinations that can prevent it. If Nigerians
are ignoring the most common type of cancer
created by HPV, then mouth cancer is going to be
even deadlier.
In a chat with Dr Iyke, who agreed that the HPV
virus exists, he advised against the practice of
oral se.x. It is not medically healthy. HPV is
mostly gotten amongst se.xually active people.
When the virus is gotten, it has a time line,
especially for women depending on the person’s
age. As a woman, to confirm if the virus is there
and mostly found in the genital area, the person
will have to undergo a screening called
Papanicolar Screen (PAPScreen). If the virus is
fully grown and the oraficial structures have been
damaged, it shows through Ebora cancer.
The virus is not only gotten through oral s.ex but
through anal and genital s.ex. The Human
Papilloma Virus affects the skin exposed to
moisture, such as the mouth, rectum, ce.rvix and
throat.
HOW ORAL SE.X CAN KILL
One thing PHV shares with HIV is that the carrier
usually has no idea he has the virus. The carrier
develops the virus and passes it during the
exchange of bodily fluids with someone else. The
recipient is the one who runs the risk of
contracting whatever disease the virus creates.
Which means, the person giving oral s.ex is at
risk of getting the HPV virus from the person she
is pleasuring and then the virus could trigger
cancerous cell growth in the recipient.
However, the rise in the number of throat and
mouth cancer due to oral se.x cannot be ignored
as the virus is hard to detect and can move
quickly once it is passed to someone.
Nigerians have to put more emphasis on being
vaccinated against HPV and diminishing the
possibilities of contacting any kind of disease
from oral se.x. HPV virus can be reduced through
protection during oral se.x which is now preferred
among couples.
The rise of the virus in Nigeria can be frustrating
to hear. Oral s.ex is no longer a safe alternative
to intercourse, except with proper precaution. |

The Oyo state Police Command has arrested a 30-year-old man, one Hassan Maikudi alongside five Fulani men suspected to be members of a notorious kidnapping and armed robbery gang who for years had allegedly terrorized Okeho and Iganna communities in the state. Maikudi, The Sun reports, led the gang to kidnap his own father and collected a ransom of N1.5 million before releasing him. The Inspector General of Police, Mr. Solomon Arase, while parading the suspects, said when police invaded their hide-out, some of the suspects fled into the bush, while the police recovered the sum of N200,000 and several charms allegedly used in evading arrest from the apprehended suspects. They were identified as Damanya Gambo, 30, Usman Saidu, 30, Abubakar Abubakar, 28, Abdullahi Mohammed, 35 and Usman Idris, 33. On their arrest, one of the suspects, 35-year-old Mohammad, a Fulani from Kwara State who claimed to be a graduate of Mathematics, said he is married to two wives and has three children. He said it was his quest to be a rich man that landed him into crime. According to him, “Before I was arrested, I was a teacher and I quit my job because I wanted to join the Nigerian Army. I applied but I wasn’t admitted. I obtained an Ordinary National Diploma from Kwara State Polytechnic in Mathematics and Statistics in 2005 and I went further to obtain a B.Sc in Mathematics from Kwara State University and I graduated in 2009, before proceeding for National Youth Service. “I started working in 2011. I got a job at a private secondary school in Okeho where I taught Physics and Mathematics and I earned N15000 monthly. I was very popular among most residents of the area especially people of my tribe. I grew up in that area with my parents and siblings. I was also staying there with my wives and children. Though most of my friends who knew I was well educated, knew I wasn’t making enough money from my job. “Few years ago, two of them, Damanya and Abubakar, approached me with an idea, that since I was highly respected and well known in the community, I could always make good money for myself, by giving them information about rich people residing in the community. I asked what they needed to do with such information, they said in most cases they will either rob or kidnap such persons. “I told them that I can’t do such because my eyes are very bad, and I could barely see at night. Damanya told me that all they needed was for me to always look out for potential targets and when identified, in the case of kidnapping, I will be on ground to gather intelligence from relatives of the victims. “In other cases, he said I will have to trail and give them information on persons they want to rob. So I eventually joined them, he added. Recounting some of their exploits, Mohammad said, “We did a couple of jobs. I gave them information when they wanted to rob a cattle rearer after he has sold cattle. I informed them when the man came home and I followed him secretly until he mounted a motorcycle. I gave them that information, and by evening, news went round that the man had been robbed and the money he made from the sale of his cattle was carted away. “In that operation, I got N40,000 as my share of the loot,” the father of three said. According to him, there were several other times they blocked the highway leading to the border and robbed traders going for their businesses across the border. “We dispossess traders of their monies. When they returned, they will bring my own share; this is because they don’t want me to tell anyone who carried out those operations. “There were several operations we did together and I usually got my share but last month they went and kidnapped one Alhaji Maikudi, who is a rich cattle rearer. It was his son, Hassan, who brought the job and I don’t know what his reason was. “Hassan is also my friend,” Mohammad continued, “but he works with his father as a herdsman and they have several cows. Female staff members of the Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria (CRIN) in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, threw caution to the winds this morning and staged a semi-nude protest against the Executive Director of the agency, Professor Malachy O. Akoroda over what they termed his maladministration of the agency. The staff are accusing their executive director of engaging in white elephant jobs & mismanagement of funds. The female staff members in company of their male colleagues who did not remove their clothes, barricaded the entrance to the institute with heaps of sand. A petition letter jointly written and signed by the Chief Yekeen Ogunyode, the Baale of Odo Onanla the host community and one Solomon Adebiyo read "Letters have been sent to the President Federal Republic of Nigeria and Federal House of Representatives regarding the lingering crisis in CRIN. In addition numerous petitions have been sent to the ICPC, the EFCC, the Auditor General, and Accountant General of the Federation concerning the mismanagement of funds through white elephant projects at the expense of research by Professor Akoroda.” The workers alleged that Professor Akoroda use his influence to engage the security services to intimidate, harass, and victimize all those involved in the struggle to expose his maladministration through the issuance of queries, endless warnings, open confrontations and many more. Chief Ogunyode and other community leaders informed journalists during the protest that they identify with the plight of the workers and demand for the removal of Professor Akoroda “We the Community Leaders have made several attempt to ensure this matter is settled, but Professor Akoroda will not listen. We cannot continue to fold our arms and watch this institute rot away or have our land taken away, most of our people are here. We want peace and I think peace cannot return to this place until Professor Akoroda is removed"he said Professor Akoroda has not reacted to the strike action or allegations leveled against him

The Earth will experience 15 days of total darkness between November 15 and November 29, 2015. The event, according to NASA, hasn’t occurred in over 1 Million years. Astronomers from NASA have indicated that the world will remain in complete darkness starting on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at 3 a.m. and will end on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 4:15 p.m. According to officials, the ” November Black Out” event will be caused by another astronomical event between Venus and Jupiter. Charles Bolden, who was appointed to head of NASA by President Obama, issued a 1000 page document explaining the event to the White House. According to the report, on October 26, 2015, Venus and Jupiter will engage in a close parallelism, only being separated by 1 degree. Venus will pass to the southwest of Jupiter, causing Venus to shine 10 times brighter than Jupiter. The light from Venus will heat up the gases on Jupiter causing a reaction. The gaseous reaction will release an unprecedented amount of Hydrogen into Space. The Hydrogen gas will make contact with Earth’s sun at approximately 2:50 a.m. The amass amount of Hydrogen making contact with the sun will cause a massive explosion on the Sun’s surface. The explosions will cause the Sun’s surface temperature to increase to 9,000 degrees Kelvin in an instant. The sun will then attempt to cease the explosions by emitting heat from its core. The heat will cause the Sun to dim to a bluish color. Once the sun reaches the bluish color, it will take approximately 14 days to restore its normal surface temperature, returning its normal color to the Red Giant. While the sun is cooling the surface, the light from the sun will be much dimmer. Because it takes anywhere from 7 to 8 and a half minutes depending on the Earth’s rotation for light from the sun to hit Earth, people will not know the event has happened until 2:58 a.m. on November 15th. Some areas of the world may experience brief moments of light for 7 to 8 minutes, but the Earth will then go back to complete darkness until the Sun’s surface temperature has been restored. https://newswatch33.com/science/nasa- confirms-earth-will-experience-15-days-of- complete-darkness-in-november-2015/ |
