reetah1994:Ma'am, I will say thank you for the info but there was something I noticed about the post; I'm sorry to say o but I think u sounded kinda authoritative concerning a point u didn't seem too sure about. Yes, peeps from Lag and PH have been invited for the AC in Abj but I don't think dat shud explicitly connote dat anyone yet to get a mail was obviously unsuccessful in the test. I know for sure that we all cannot be at the assessment centre simultaneously cos of crowd control thingy. What if those that wrote in Lag but got an invitation to be assessed in Abj actually filled a place close to abj (Kaduna for example) as their residential state while registering and they were asked to come down to abj for d assessment due to d proximity ( Kaduna to Lag is farther than Kaduna to Abj). u wud av also contradicted urself if AC is to resume in Lag next week and all successful applicants av been contacted like u said, this is a contradiction because I don't think anyone has been contacted to d effect dat he/she will be assessed in Lag. If urs reads lagos, signify! then I will bring down this post and eat my words. I av only drawn a conclusion from the premise I have on ground, my argument can actually be wrong sha. Even if I am wrong, I personally do not see any company as my "all in all" as I bliv even the unsuccessful applicants here might simply be destined for better things. Thank you. |
Magma012:They've all gone on sabbatical leave. I guess it is now every man for himself. ![]() |
simplebb:For the assessment centre, u shud be prepared for an impromptu presentation (individual presentation and group discussion). They might give you a case study, just be urself and try to be outspoken. |
Congrats guys! The guys that received the mail did their test in ABJ or wah? I'm yet to receive any mail sha, I did mine in Lag. |
ThoniaSlim:If I want to kill myself, I'll jump from your level of intelligence to the level of ur ignorance. Now, let me school u. u can use the collective noun 'staff' with a singular verb wen action is not implied or u simply intend to state a fact abt d group. Here, u see the workers as a single unit (not as a single person). That is why u can av 'The staff is very dedicated' (staff here is referring to d group of workers and not a single worker). However, wen action is implied, u must use a plural verb. u say, 'the staff are working' because 'working' there implies an action. Many peeps don't know dat one ought to say 'Chelsea are playing tomorrow' and 'The police are working' and not '*Chelsea is playing tomorrow' or '*the police is working'. U can however av 'Chelsea is 50 today' because no action was implied. |
ThoniaSlim:lol... Now, i know whose education was a failure. so, 'staff' can be used to describe a single person? na ur type dey call urself 'choir' , instead of 'chorister' Next time, don't come here to embarrass urself. |
TGM2015:I just finished watching this Union Bank video clip and the lady wearing Hijab said sumfyn like 'staff' while referring to a single person. She also said sumfyn like 'fellow contemporary' even though this is a tautology. And they expect me to score up to 80% in this test even though they are also not perfect. ![]() |
yebzman:Lol... 70% for just numerical ke? When he said that it was 20 questions in all (verbal, logical and numerical). 70% of 20 is wah? 14 nw |
[quote author=ohisoriella post=62420594]Please Nairalanders. .... do union bank take age requirements seriously because am currently 27 years old and union bank required age is 26 years. Urgent answers needed because I don't want to waste transport fare from benin to lagos to come for the test and later be Exactly bro, I will advise that u only apply for jobs that u are completely qualified for so as to avoid last minute disappointment. It will be frustrating after passing all the stages and u are being disqualified at the verification/documentation stage. But God can do anything sha. If u geh enuf money, u fit come and try ur luck. |
Enkay12:Calculator was even allowed in d first stage. The message containing d link to the test stated dat u would need a calculator 4 d numerical and logical reasoning segments. I don't know why it's not allowed in this second stage. Just practise some of the questions in the first test, I guess they will repeat those questions. The purpose of this second test, like someone rightly said, is to confirm d authenticity of the first. |
They implicitly and even explicitly stated that corps members should not apply. We shud just learn how to comprehend instructions and other related stuffs. That was how some peeps during tha ECOBANK test stuff only ticked one option when the instruction clearly said that u shud pick d two best options in d verbal aspect. There are other opportunities, tell ur sis not to fret. Wow, so d next stage is the assessment centre? I've never done that one o, d process looks long and scary. God shud help us all. |
