Adam Wathan a backend developer who once worked with Taylor Otwell on Laravel had to quit his job to focus on Tailwindcss, a css framework, because he was making so much money from it.

That is why it's good to know fundamentals though, if you know php as is, you'd be able to tackle any framework or package, so far its php.


I do wonder why people go into AI directly in Nigeria without the knowledge of web or mobile app development, wetin you go dey chop before your AI job comes?

First OP I need your contact, we've met on different thread discussing things like this and I can say you are hundred percent right. Let me say walai I am sure of my django and nodejs skill I learnt these things I know my way around them, but I haven't seen much jobs in them the last interview I did the interviewer told me that because of my vast knowledge he's willing to employ me if I can brush up my Laravel up in two weeks I agreed, but NYSC Bleep things up, remember I am a Django/Node developer o. I have a guy that specifically called my number from LinkedIn to offer me ruby on rails / shopify with travel option SA and I won't pay a dime, but they need senior ruby dev, I wasn't qualified my friends are also stuck with node... The last job that gave me 50k in 2days about two weeks ago is WordPress. I don't know how compose this thing but I hope people are getting the point. M now back to my first love PHP/LARAVEL/WORDPRESS and VUE.

You are right o.. I hated php and went for NodeJS and Python for backend.. But nothing bring quick money than PHP in Nigeria.. I have switched back to take PHP Refresh er course and re-embrace my dear laravel. But m thankful for the knowledge I have in Python and JavaScript.

@OP... You are sincerely wrong.... very soon you'll find book doesn't really teach like docs...what den would you say afterwards .. People learn things differently.

if I want to have quick overview of a technology I watch YouTube, if I really want to know more I go for books, if I find my self downloadn or using more than two books for a course, I would go straight into docs.....

what really works for my constipation is efo riro vegetables, cucumber fruit and Apple.... but if I eat anything flour or starch the thing reoccur, please try vegetables, especially cucumber. I have been taking dz for like 6months and I noticed some changes, then I pray always almost every midnight... May God heal us completely

I don’t normally experience cough but what disturbs me most is catarrh.I cannot communicate effectively without having to cough to clear my throat at intervals so that I can be heard clearly it's so frustrating.If I don't talk for a period of time and I want to talk I have to clear my throat first, a lot of times the mucus comes to my mouth through my nose.It affects my voice my voice doesn't sound clearly it sounds always like I have catarrh
I have used all sorts of antibiotics but could not solve the problem

I don't know any Nigerian diet that will help. But I think someone on this thread did mention some.

Personally, I think letting off non acidic, fried food, alcohol, eating in moderation, not taking anything 2-3 hours before bed, even water because it might regurgitate.

Thanks iv been eventually referred to UCH, and apart from money issue I really don't want anything that will lead to surgery. I'm tired, I have run, prayed and do all things... I don't wish this on my enemy....

I saw some phones on Jumia yesterday, you can check them out. The xiaomi redmi 5A for 19k (23k if you add the shipping fee). The Huawei P9 lite 20k (24k when you add shipping fee). Both phones have similar specs, 2g ram, 16g rom, and 3000 mah batteries. The huawei phone has a finger print sensor though. The phones have to be shipped from abroad, so be prepared for a little wait. My only issue is with the seller. I don't know if the guy is trustworthy because when i checked his info, i didn't see the phones on his page.
