The Seekers of Knowledge found themselves on another quest. This time they had to enter the great wizard tower of Vanya. She was to be caught and brought back to the city of Raptin for justice to be served. Within the tower, the group had encountered many deadly traps and a few roaming monsters. These monsters had been altered using alchemy and were no longer natural. The group had taken many injuries and was having a hard time reaching Vanya. They had entered a room that had a wooden chest in the right corner. It was a fancy chest with engravings and pictures on it. On the top of the wooden chest was some writing. Unfortunately, some of the letters were worn smooth and the message was unreadable. Sid, being one of the smartest, realized it was a clue as to where they might find Vanya. When Troti (The Ruler of the Inspectors) walked into the house, a police officer approached him. There's Mary, a former business partner, but they got in an argument a while back and split the business up. Then there's Roger, her ex-boyfriend. When we came they were both looking at the body." "Where are they?" said Troti. "They are upstairs in the victim's room, where she was shot." Troti walked upstairs to the room. He saw the body, the light from the open window illuminating the waist to the head. The window looked old, and there was no screen, just sliding glass. Through it you could see her backyard. There was a bullet high in her back. Troti looked at the suspects in the room. "I would like to have a word with both of you." Mary walked out in the hall with Troti and began to speak with Troti. "I don't really know what happened. I heard the shot from my house, our houses are back to back. When I ran over I saw Roger pale as a ghost looking down at the body. I think Roger shot the poor girl. Even if I was angry at her, she didn't deserve what she got at all." She reentered the room and Roger came out. "I came over to apologize to Julie. I knocked on the door, then heard a gunshot. I ran in and looked down at her. I was absolutely horrified at what I saw, but I didn't do it. Mary came over a few minutes later, saying she heard the shot from her house." Troti then had an idea about who had murdered the girl. Do you know whom?

After Andrew had been sick for a week, he asked his best friend Jesse to get his books out of his locker. Instead of telling Jesse the three number combination Andrew said he kept a small piece of paper with the combination under his locker door. After school Jesse went to Andrew's locker and pulled the paper. On the paper was written: 24 24 22 9 9 9 9 22 24 22 9 9. Thinking this would be easy but a little tedious, Jesse entered in every arrangement of 24, 22, and 9 there was without the lock opening. Realizing there was something behind these numbers that he wasn't noticing, Jesse sat down for a few minutes to think it out. After ten minutes of intense thinking, Jesse went to the locker, entered the combination into the lock and it opened. What was the combination?

In the city of Jackson Heights many things were going wrong. The city had the highest unemployment rate, the highest crime rate, and on top of that they were just going through a public transportation strike. On a serene, peaceful evening chaos broke loose. A very well-known, distinguished lady, Mademoiselle Pierre, had been murdered. Two men had been arrested. One was Jean-Philip Dumoulin. The other was Thomas Curdilack. Jean-Philip's story: "I was walking down the street to get a bite to eat when I heard a lady scream. I ran around the corner and I saw Mademoiselle Pierre lying on the ground. Standing over her was Thomas Curdilack. As soon as he saw me he turned and ran away. I then called the police." Thomas Curdilack's story: " I was taking the bus down to the Lakeshore Club to play poker with my buddies. As I got off, I heard a scream from around the corner. I ran around and saw Jean-Philip stabbing Mademoiselle Pierre. I chased him, but he got away. I then called the police." The chief detective told the police to arrest Thomas Curdilack. What made him so sure it was Thomas Curdilack?

She claimed she threw the paper cup into her wastebasket but her fingeprints were not on it...My analysis of the whole scenario is; immediately joseph left, she put gloves on and killed Mr olson with the stiletto(since thr were no fingerprints on it). Joseph must have left the cup(which still contained some coffee) on mr olson's table. So it ws during the struggle between mary nd mr olson that the coffee spilled on the table. Mary picked up the cup(with gloves still on) and went out to throw it into her wastebasket. She then came back and changed the time on mr olson's watch to 3:50 (to make joseph look guilty), and then she removed the gloves and dropped them in the office.

The police were checking the place. Outside,
Mary, Mr. Olson's faithful secretary, was a mass
of nerves. Inspector Will was reviewing the
facts:
1. Mr. Olson has been murdered. The murderer
buried a stiletto through the back of the chair
and right through his heart.
2. All the place was a mess, but nothing seems
to be lost. Some sheets on his desk had coffee
stains, but Mr. Olson was not a coffee drinker.
There was no coffee container of any kind in
the office. There were a couple of gloves in the
floor.
3. Mary had in her visit book just three
announcements: Hari Colton (2:35), Louis
Williams (3:10) and Joseph Markis (3:45).
Mary says that Joseph was the only one to serve
himself a cup of coffee in a paper cup.
4. The cup of coffee was found in Mary's
wastebasket. She claims that Joseph entered Mr.
Olson's office with the cup in his hands, and
then he left it in her desk, so she took it and
threw it away.
5. The stiletto had no fingerprints at all, but the
paper cup was all covered with one type of

6. Mr. Olson's wristwatch was broken, probably

See as school quiet now ehn

As a student of the federal university of Agriculture Makurdi,it saddens my heart to write about the recent happenings in the school.Over 6 people have been killed within the school premises in jst one week .It all started on the 4th of June when some cultist entered a hostel(name withheld) in the school enquiring about some1 and in the process robbed some blocks in the hostel.Rumours had it that they were BSU guys who came to look for some1 from an opposition cult.The next day it was another hostel and when they engaged in a fight a guy lost his hand in the process,that same day a guy was shot dead and butchered around 8pm (I was in night class when I heard the gun shot ) when coming back from class I and some of my friends got attacked but fortunately we ran bfore we could be hurt...yesterday night four guys were killed in a hostel(their bodies were seen this morning)and another guy(butchered to pieces)and his roommate was injured buh survived in a different hostel.The news now is that,all lectures have been cancelled for the day as our VC prof.Kucha was at the scene of the incident (hostel where the four guys were killed ).Presently everyone is scared ,even to move at night is something else...Below is a picture of the four guys killed in one of the hostel.God help us
