You posted this and were not banned for real? Maybe it's because the mod of this forum is yet to notice this.

WebmastersA Simple Crypto Management Script I Built Using Laravel by DevLaive(op): 12:05pm On Jul 20, 2025
Below is a video demo of a crypto asset management script I have been working on. It comes with the ability to receive crypto assets, send crypto assets (manually). It comes with KYC feature as well. It also comes with the ability to deposit and swap assets. Check out the short video demo and let me know your feedback!

ResidentSnitch:
There are several things that could motivate one. Earning more is definitely one of them
When the gigs or the money stop coming, you develop a passion for it, or you develop it along the way, or you even switch ( it's a free world).
And surely, becoming a professional is not only borne out of passion.
Some people were practically coarsed into some courses without the initial passion for it and yet, they are doing well in the field.
Go for it.
And maybe that's one of the reasons why there is a prevalence of incompetence in most public offices and establishments. The idea is to have a deep interest in something first, follow it and then the money will come. That interest most times is born out of curiosity, and not primarily to make money. I repeat: don't go into tech because you want to make money, you may be discouraged in the long run!

What are the new1 jobs AI is creating like previous new2 technologies were creating. With previous new3 technologies it opened up a lot of new4 opportunities for people to learn new5 skills like programming, networking etc with plenty of jobs on the market but with AI what new6 AI skills and jobs have AI created
You have actually used the word "new" up to 6 times in your post. AI may not have created "new jobs", but it has created new opportunities for smart people to create jobs for themselves. And for those who already have jobs especially in the tech industry, AI has introduced new ways for them to boost productivity. So if you feel AI is not creating "jobs", you should have an inward review because AI has brought thousands of opportunities.

Story for the gods. He can also learn tech cause of money and still make it. Money was my motivation and glory be to God
And for any reason, if the money stops coming in when you no longer have gigs at hand (this happens sometimes), then you'll quit? And jump into something else because of the money? I'm not surprised when I see people claiming to build a website for 20 or 25k. It's the motivation for money and not the passion to dive deep and learn what it really costs to become a professional. Becoming a professional is only born out of passion and not merely a motivation for money. Tech don suffer!
ProgrammingRe: Am I Too Old To Learn A Skill? by DevLaive: 9:34am On Jul 03, 2025
I'll advise you not to learn a tech skill because people said there is money in tech. If making money is your only motivation for wanting to learn a tech skill, you'll be disappointed in the long run. Learn something that you'll enjoy doing. And if you enjoy doing it, that's when the money will come. And age is not even a barrier.

A classified website is actually a broad project. It will come with categories and sometimes subcategories. You'll also need to allow the upload of multiple images. You'll need an implementation of a good logic to make management of subscription fees flexible.

Then most importantly and just like someone said above, you'll need a good hosting platform. But it's all doable provided you have the financial capacity. I can help you build it from scratch if you want. Let's talk!

There might be a few existing software, but not all of them will meet your specific needs. You'll therefore need to explain to a developer what you need in your own software so that it can be built exclusively for your business. I am a web developer incase you need one.
WebmastersWhat Is My Exclusive Offence To The Moderator Of Webmasters Forum?? by DevLaive(op): 8:57am On Jun 25, 2025
The screenshot you seen below is thread I created on my older account that was very helpful to a lot of people who read it, but checking it recently, the useful tips (not adverts) I gave there were all wiped off with no reason. That account was also banned without any reason!

I have never scammed anyone here or anywhere else. Yet I see all this restrictions on my account. I can't post my email neither can I paste my phone number and all. Literally, I can't network here again as before.

What did I do to the moderators of this forum? I put it to them to state clearly the rules I violated that others have not violated and are still not violating here. It's saddening!

ProgrammingRe: 27, Going All-in On Web Dev – Am I Making A Mistake? by DevLaive: 7:36am On Jun 22, 2025
Well, first and foremost, you're asking multiple questions all at once.

You're asking about whether full stack development is an option for you. You're also asking about freelancing. You went further to ask about the "FASTEST path from zero to first income". You're asking whether to specialise or generalize.

You're also even asking about the tech stack to choose: MERN stack or opt for Web3. Towards the end of the post, you asked about UI/UX.

You digressed to asking about how Nigerians are dealing with PayPal restrictions and handling trust issues with clients. You obviously need to start offering [international] services before asking about PAYPAL or even clients.

That's already too much! Rome wasn't built in a day! You need to be specific about the area you want to be advised. Bundling all these and asking in a block will only get you confused and even add to your current problems.
ProgrammingRe: Why Has Nairaland Decided To Be So Strict With Its Rules? by DevLaive(op): 9:24pm On Jun 19, 2025

WebmastersRe: Nothing Is Impossible Online by DevLaive: 7:08am On Jun 19, 2025
I am impressed by your story. Indeed nothing is impossible to do as far as programming is concerned. The impossibilities only begin where our ability to think stops. Your story also reminds me of a client I have been working for. I smashed the first job he tested me with, smashed the second one, the third and so on. That's how he turned out to like me and we have been working together for more than 3 years now.

Just decide and truly decide to get something done and you'll be amazed at what you can achieve! 😊

PS: meanwhile, I also do PHP and will be excited to work on projects with you in the future in case you need someone!
ProgrammingWhy Has Nairaland Decided To Be So Strict With Its Rules? by DevLaive(op):
No doubt, through this forum, I have met very credible and smart people some of whom are now my distant friends and clients. I have met some people here back in 2010/2011 on my first account which got banned till today.

Socializing was easier because there were no strict rules restricting users from posting or engaging with posted threads.

However, the reverse has become the case today on this forum. Socializing has been made almost impossible.

You're not allowed to post your email address; you cannot post your phone number or WhatsApp link. You are also not allowed to post even a link to your blog or website to boost your credibility for some people who might want to hire you or do business with you.

While these strategies adopted by the Management of Nairaland might be motivated by a decision to boost its Ad revenue by discouraging all forms of backdoor adverts, I have noticed a very low level of thread engagements. Users hardly engage threads especially following the recent 40 character minimum for replies. Even number of views are dropping. Statistics don't lie!

While Nairaland's recent developments may not be entirely the cause, but I see the rules as being overly strict. Now the question is: what has drastically changed so far to prompt such strict rules??

What does it even mean to "memorize syntax"?
If you claim to know a programming language, its syntax should come naturally to you not something you constantly have to look up in documentation. Of course, there may be exceptions for parts you don't use regularly or encounter in your day-to-day work like when I first encountered ternary operators and template literals in JavaScript

The best programmers are those who can bring their own ideas and the ideas of others to life through code. Nothing more, nothing less.
It doesn’t matter how you do it, as long as the code is clean and works as intended. That’s what truly matters.
I'm not sure you understood me. You don't have to always reference even the most basic things. There are still things that should be second nature to a programmer when writing code.

However, you can write code that is "clean and works as intended" but which uses extremely old and outdated patterns. That is why languages and frameworks have versions. The fact that it is "clean and works as intended" in version a.b.c doesn't mean it might still be the recommended way of doing it in say version x.y.z

Whatever you understand by syntax, the point is to always reference the documentation not for basic syntaxes but whenever you're in doubt. Don't always stick to what you knew before. That's not the life of a programmer!
ProgrammingRe: The Two Categories Of Programmers Which category Are You by DevLaive: 10:30pm On Jun 15, 2025
One thing I always say is that 'the documentation is the best companion to have'. Why would I have to memorize stuffs when I don't have to pay a dime in order to reference something in the documentation?

Thanks to the nice documentation of Laravel, all I do sometimes is just a quick search on the documentation and I'll get the information I need.

I have come to notice that people who memorize syntaxes tend to write "hacky" codes when of course there are simply ways to do the same things if only they checked the documentation.
WebmastersHave A Legit And Profitable Web Project Idea? Let's Build It! by DevLaive(op): 11:41am On Jun 15, 2025
Hello there!

I've observed that a lot of people live with potentially profitable project ideas but can't bring them to life. In most cases, it's not due to financial constraints of hiring a developer, but factors such as fear of being scammed, distance, lack of skills, or inability to refine the idea they have. 🤔

If that sounds like you and raising the funds isn't your challenge, then let's talk! 😊

Early this year, I was given an already existing project to fix some issues on it. I saw a lot of vulnerabilities the script had and tried to build my version of it from scratch so I can sell it to the company. However, I discontinued the project because all attempts to reach the CEO proved abortive. And I didn't want to build something I might end up not being able to sell off. 😌😌

I have also been tinkering with other small personal projects in EdTech, E-commerce and Utility Scripts, though they are still in progress because I left them to focus on a recent crypto trading project I got from a friend.✌️

I have resolved countless issues for clients some of whom I met on this platform (Nairaland) 🤗🤗I am narrating all these not to sound more experienced or knowledgeable than you! But I am saying these things to stress the fact that I am a very open and easy-going person and would like to work with anyone who has all it takes, including the finances.😉😉

As an experienced web developer and an entrepreneur, with good communication skills, I think I can bring in my years of experience into fine-tuning your idea and also bringing it to live.I am also open to any jobs related to web development or managing the development of a mobile app project for you from start to finish. Let's talk and do business!
