Soybeans:
Rinse the soybeans several times in cold water. Place into a pot, cover with water, and soak overnight in the refrigerator.

In the morning, drain the pot. Add 2 cups of water, bring to a boil, and then simmer for 2–2½ hours.

Once the beans are tender, drain and pour into a food processor or blender. Purée for 30 seconds.

Add water or milk, 1 tablespoon at a time. Continue puréeing until the mixture is smooth.Thank u so so much am so grateful 4 this recipe

Use Your Strainer

Even after puréeing your baby's meal until it seems thin enough, it still may be too thick or chunky for a baby to handle. If your baby gags or refuses to eat, try pouring the puréed food into a sieve or strainer. Use a rubber spatula to press the food through, and the resulting purée should be considerably thinner.

Ingredients/tools:
1. One big custard rubber of soya bean seed.
2. manual/hand blender

Method:
Buy about one big custard measure of soya bean seed. Pick it one at a time to remove the sand.
After picking, put a frying pan on fire, pour the soya beans inside and keep stiring it with a wooden spoon or spoon until it starts drying like roasted groundnut and colour changes to a bit brownish.
Once you can peel the roasted back like ground nut, it is ok.
Pour into a tray to cool.

Pour into a manual blender (adjust the blender so that it will be loose) and gently blend to remove the hard skin.
Winow (blow with a tray or hand fan) the soya bean with the skin to remove the skin.

Tighten the blender and blend until the soya bean is well blended (that is when it become powdered).

Your soya bean is ready.

Pour into a tight covered container and label with the date of production.

well back to topic

here goes
1.pound or ground gero to break up the seeds into pieces
2.sieve to remove the chuff
3.soak gero over night pls don't use hot water( as this will make the overall come black)
4.wash out the soaked water with fresh clean water
5.spread out in tray and leave out in sun to dry for a day
6.add black gloves,ginger,small yaji and other spices

7.sieve again to get rid of any unwanted chuff
8.dry to get the flour completely dry
the over all final result will be a highly scent dry greyish powder that will keep for months on end
whenever you want to make a porridge all you have to do is take some and make it into a paste as you would do for ogi
cook with hot water add sugar and pronto its ready

armyofone: well, wait till a day or two more. if you see some foam on top, then okay to blend.
blend till very smooth. pour the smooth paste into a large bowl. pour cold water into the paste and mix.
now get a sieve and filter. pour the chaff in the seive away and keep the one coming out from the seive.
leave overnight. ogi will be at the bottom after pouring the top water away.
