Reasons why the Nurse could be wrong.

1. Being an Elder in the profession, She knows Nurses and Doctors have superiors in each profession, hence no matter how junior a doctor is especially HO, Its ethically wrong to take instructions from nurses especially with respect to patient management. He will rightly inform his seniors about the patient refusal for catherization. But she taunted by repeatedly telling him what to do.......and the doctor replied by slapping her......Only a crazy person will just look at you and slap you for saying so.

She obviously harbour grudges from previous encounter that the doctor rejected her advices...hence she is tempered that she doesn't want the HO to use her Sphyg..that's so immature of a Mum she claims to be.
