TheHatofEsther: In February, a guy followed me on social media. He said he liked me and all that. As at then, he said he was an Engineer, working as part of a constitution company.
Honestly, for 2 months he was texting and calling me for a relationship and meeting each other. At some point, I started calling too and texting back.
In April, he told me he was depressed because he lost his job. I told him, it could be very difficult for him to cope, since that was his only source of earning.
3 weeks after that, he sent me a message and deleted it. I came online and asked him what he typed initially. He said he wanted to come my place to check on me and stay for a week. I felt there was nothing wrong with that even though I have never met him.
Then came a catch22 situation, he said he wasn't financially bouyant to come visiting and asked if I could send him some money. Honestly I didn't have, I had to call one of my friends in the Uk to lend me some money till month end.
I sent him the money and when it was the day of coming, I kept waiting for his text. I kept waiting for his call to notify me he was at that Ibadan garage. He never called, he never texted me. When it was around 3 in the afternoon, I called him to ask him what was happening. He told me, his friend who was a neighbour had a clash with someone. And that the police arrested him and the neighbour. And that I called him immediately he paid their bail to the person that came with police to arrest them.
I told him straight up that a complainant cannot pay the bail of the person arrested. Then he quickly changed his narrative. I let that slide and didn't communicate with him for a while.
He kept texting and telling me how sorry he was. Then again, In may he told me he wanted to come. I told him due to the distance and the nature of my work, I can't come. I sent him another money just for him to come. Only for this guy to ghost and come up with another excuse that his brother had and accident and had to go home. He sent me some chat and pictures.
I find it amusing why a person will be behaving this way. Why? And he had never thought of saying he wants to refund all the transport fare. I want to accuse him of collecting transport and not coming but I don't want to be too harsh.

Then we went don't somewhere, the person he said that was supposed to initiate me wasn't around. We went back home. Thank God I was already done with my OND program, and I came visiting. The next day before 4am, I was already at Douglas, boarding a bus at IMT Park to my state. Dude made me not to go bck to Nekede to start and complete my HND. Dominic where ever you are, cause i know after all these years, the curses i laid on you then, you can't still be alive today. I know for sure even in hell, your own torment will be doubled.
