Eba50: that number 7 is my parents only flaw i see. i have my younger sister who is now a single mum. i knew she would become one at best cos my parents always clapped for her always bad behavior right from when we were very young.anytime i tried to correct her, they even attacked me verbally and told me to take care of my own kids the way i thought was best . there was a time i even asked my mum if i brought a girl who had like my sister's behavior home, if she would accept her as daughter inlaw, she said i should get away. At a point, i just stopped complaining about her behavior . now, she is a single mum of 7 year old boy. which she gave our name. and we dont even know the father of the boy. my parents never had courage till date to know who the father is. they now feel regret for attacking me. meanwhile, i have 2 very cute kids, who cant even let me work in my officein peace. they always want to be with me.my parents, though doing well financially all their lives and gave us the best, but their bias in not disciplining our sister is what they are suffering today As e be so, you dey do opposite the OP, cause you dey judge your parents |

Car Talk › Re: Why Do People Avoid Great Products Because Of The CEO? (my Tesla Experience) by Dghold: 12:16pm On Aug 10 |
RadiantGlow: I own a Tesla Model 3 Long Range, and honestly, it’s the best car purchase I’ve ever made. I absolutely love driving it.
However, I’ve noticed a growing trend: a lot of people refuse to buy the car not because of its performance, build quality, or tech, but simply because of Elon Musk.
A few days ago, I was speaking with a woman I respect. She flat-out told me she wouldn’t be caught dead in a Tesla. When I asked her why, her sole reason was Elon. She specifically mentioned that she doesn't want to make him any richer by buying his product.
It’s fascinating to me that people let a CEO’s personal brand dictate their consumer choices.
The Double Standard
Not many people realize that Volkswagen was originally initiated during Adolf Hitler's regime in 1930s Germany. Yet today, millions of people buy cars from the VW Group (Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, etc.) because of product quality, completely ignoring the historical origin or past figures behind the brand. People buy the engineering, not the founder.
If we start vetting the personal life, political views, or character of every CEO before buying their company's products, almost nothing on the store shelves would pass the test.
My Take
If you like a product and it serves your needs, buy it. Using a product is a consumer transaction, not an endorsement of the CEO's lifestyle, personal views, or politics. Nice, the car is very good too, |

Marvieduke: THE ALOZIE SISTERS: A football royalty
The 3 sisters, Cynthia, Cassandra and Michelle Alozie are football queens. They grew up playing football together and followed the same paths of football academy in America.
In the photo here is Cynthia Alozie (left) and her younger sister Michelle, the prominent Nigerian-American professional footballer and cancer research technician. Cynthia played soccer during childhood and helped inspire Michelle's own early interest and entry into the sport. Michelle grew up wanting to follow in the footsteps of her older sisters, Cynthia and Cassandra.
When Cynthia and Cassandra picked up soccer as children, it directly sparked Michelle's lifelong passion for the game. The sisters were raised in California by Nigerian parents originating from Imo State, Nigeria. Michelle Alozie, the last born is the only one of the 3 sisters that progressed professionally in the game.
Michelle Alozie started her football career at a tender age of 13 at the Legends FC and Granite Hills Cougar both based in Houston. The former American manager of the Nigeria Women national team, Randy Waldrum, who had

Babatunjo: Call it good or bad, but society has changed.
Women marry later, date longer, and are far more sexually liberated than they were a generation ago. It's no longer something limited to the "wild girls." Even your regular, educated, career-focused, church-going lady may have a sexual past.
Because of that reality, many men have adjusted their expectations.
These days, the questions are different.
Is she loyal?
Can she bring peace?
Is she emotionally mature?
Can we build a stable home together?
A woman's past may still matter to some men, but for many others, her character, values and how she treats you now carry more weight.
You don't have to like the change. But pretending it hasn't happened won't change reality. Lalami221 must not hear this |

If they're going by goal diff, Zambia is top, followed by Nigeria.
If it's by Goal For.. It's Nigeria and Zambia
If it's by H2H it's a tie because all 3 lost to one another.
So.. On what criteria is

Sports › Re: Nigeria Vs Egypt: WAFCON 2026 (6 - 2) On 5th August 2026 by Dghold: 11:31pm On Aug 05 |
greggng: Yes — in this crazy Group C, all 3 still qualify — even though Zambia finished 3rd on the table.
Here's why:
WAFCON 2026 is now 16 teams — so not just top 2 go through. It's:
Top 2 from each group + 2 best 3rd-placed teams make the quarter-finals.
Group C final table: 1. Malawi - 6 pts (+2) - QUALIFIED as group winners 2. Nigeria - 6 pts (+4) - QUALIFIED 3. Zambia - 6 pts (+6) - QUALIFIED as best 3rd place 4. Egypt - 0 pts All three tied on 6 points. They had to use head-to-head goals to separate: Malawi 4, Nigeria 3, Zambia 2 — so Malawi tops the group
Zambia had +6 goal difference — after thrashing Egypt 6-0 earlier — so even as 3rd place, with 6 points they are easily one of the two best 3rd-placed teams in the whole tournament.
So today's result: Malawi lost to Zambia, but both go through to the knockout stage. Malawi as group winners gets a slightly easier quarter-final draw. It's 8 teams that play quarter final sir, not 16 teams, this is the first WAFCON, to have quarter final, before its straight to semi final, so they won't. There's no best looser sir, it's first and second the first 4 teams to qualify for semi final gets automatic world cup qualifications, the loosing 4 teams in the quarter final, gets to play a 2 legged play off, the winning team from the play off, gets to play one more play off, just like the men did, so yeah they are out Malawi, Zambia and Nigeria are through |

Omoawoke: H2H rule
So the three tied teams would be placed in a mini group
Malawi Nigeria Zambia
Nigeria: 3pts : 3 goals and 3 goals against = 0 goal difference Malawi: 3pts: 4 goals scored 4 goals against = 0 goal difference Zambia 3 pts : 2 goals scored and 2 goals against = 0 goals difference
Based on this Malawi tops with 4 goals scored Nigeria 3 goals scored Zambia 2 goals Rubbish, Zambia and Nigeria qualify,
