try shake body small na......I tot dats wht negotiation is all about
huh[/quote]FYI: ASUU is not negotiating with FG. This has already been done and deal closed. ASUU is now insisting on the implementaion of an agreement reached since 2009 which was a result of several negotiations between both parties. I hope this little explanation helps....
PoliticsRe: ASUU And FG Who Is To Be Blamed For This Strike ? by Dgov6: 10:16pm On Oct 17, 2013
The blame is obviously on FG for the following reasons:
1. Why did FG signed an agreement without adequately establishing her capacity to fulfil such?
2. Why did it have to take FG up till 2013 to raise part of the fund for an agreement whose implementation should have started since 2010?
3. Why did it have to take ASUU embarking on an industrial action before FG could raise #130billion in 2013 out of about #1.2trillion total fund, as against an annual release of #400billion as contained in the agreement?
4. Had ASUU not embarked on this strike, what obvious plan was in place to ascertain that FG is committed to fulfiling the terms of the agreement?
Fellow N/Landers, the facts that these questions exist have indicated to a great extent the insecerity and nonchalant attitude of the Fed. Govt to the implementation of the agreement entered with ASUU and tertiary education in Nigeria generally.
What a pity!
