I don't mean to sound misogynistic, but the average Nigerian girl has an IQ similar to that of a tadpole (I am not in any way generalizing).
How can you be attached to someone who doesn't even know you exist?
Haha..This comment made my day

In fact, in my class, Christians are more than muslims
but we can't deny their admission process is quite questionable and somewhat shady.

Pocohontasboo:
Na only UI person wey get 310 and 80% in post utme no go get admission or dem go pity am give am fisheries lol inside life.
Get this score in any other university in Nigeria and its a smooth sail apart from that one that calls herself unilorin. In Timaya's voice "this life, I can't kill myself".
UNILORIN? being a Muslim alone gives you an unfair advantage not to talk of being an indigene.

naso we see ham oo. I just keep mute with my 290 when I saw 300+ flying around like housefly. like say I don give up on this year admission sef. though I'm not a UI aspirant...the competition go mad gan the way I'm seeing it.
That's it..complacency is detrimental at this stage,I was told someone with 330 missed out on MBBS..he had 71 in POST UTME

Of course, there is COVID-19 in Nigeria but the figures are fictitious. Come to think of it,if this is true, why are Nigerian doctors embarking on a Nationwide strike?

UI admitted 168 medical aspirants LAST YEAR. You tried in your UTME. I'm also in your condition now as I got 298 yet i'm believing GOD that he's the one that gives admission. In 2019,a guy with 292 and 88 in PUTME was admitted. It depends on how you prepare yourself for the PUTME. I will like to chat with you on facebook. Add me up IDOWU PHILIP OLAMIDE
#PEACE#
Let's keep our fingers crossed bro. thanks for your comment btw..NO to complacency..POST UTME is the main hurdle
EducationRe: The medical students and aspirants thread by DharmieDhrey(m): 8:27pm On Jun 14, 2020
Nitroglycerine:
Moreover,i found out from some bosses that entered last year that 70% of the questions were from JAMB and UI PAST QUESTION. I have been sent the latter. I went through it and discovered that most of their questions are simple but technical. If you can get 87+ in the PUTME,you will surely be admitted. Those scores that you have seen do not mean anything. I repeat they don't mean anything. Many 300+ were wasted last year due to their complacency, they perform woefully in the PUTME. Imagine, someone with 292 having the same aggregate with someone with 324. The former had 88 while the latter had 80. Prepare wella for the POST-UTME and UI will bow.
Yeah bro..You are right..I know you quite well, from UI Medical aspirants group.. We've talked once.. aren't you bookish nitroglycerine??

why should he lie about his school? Why should he deny his school betterstill? shey UNIBEN na small school ni? its funny. Deny UNIBEN to claim UI who does that?
my thoughts, exactly.

ThanosDr:
why you dey run from home. Lol. Why not Uniben?
Two things discouraged me...Maths in the post ume and that they don't publicise their departmental cut-off marks..
EducationRe: The medical students and aspirants thread by DharmieDhrey(m):
Alexaonfleek:
And again, one thing about UI is that their cutoffs increase crazily as the year goes by.
This 300 that you got would have gotten you a sure admission in UI,in the year 2017 and even 2018,as long as you get a decent score in postutme.
But as at 2019,300+ didn't get admission into UI,even with decent postutme score, because they were 2 or 3 marks away from the cutoff.
Like I said before,it's better you go where you have an edge over other applicants.
Thanks.. That's just the truth,a 300L UI MBBS student claimed in he got in with 276..the competition increases yearly..

Alexaonfleek:
Which state are you from?
That one is a major koko, especially if you're applying for any government owned uni in n Nigeria.
I feel UI is a bit too competitive.
300 is a good score to compete with in UI,but go where you'd have an edge over other applicants.
If you have good o level,I'd have recommended that you go to lasu.
The fees there isn't too expensive.
My O'level isn't that strong, picking LASU means shooting my foot..The competition in UI is very intense...Btw, I'm from Edo state..
EducationRe: The medical students and aspirants thread by DharmieDhrey(m): 1:53pm On Jun 14, 2020
MrEgghead:
You don't have to feel oppressed because of those scores you're seeing..UI will still take take up to 130 candidates into MBBS..I would have easily made UI's admission in 2017 if I had gotten the right information..With 300 you can easily make MBBS list in UI if you know the secrets..

UI's secret is LAMLARD biology, chemistry and physics. You can read A1 English.
@pes13 who entered in 2017 said about 60-70 questions that came out were lifted directly from LAMLARD past questions..The exam literally was almost like solving past questions for him.

Solve all the past questions in LAMLARD and you're 80% in.

I applied the same trick the following year and I was admitted into MBBS in UNIBEN without stress.
Wow..Great, thanks..I have heard that too, observed it as well(UI lifts questions from Lamlad)..Btw,I heard the quota for MBBS in UI is about 150+

Good day ẞoss... How's Uniport modality like? I know they write post UTME..and what was last year's cut off mark for MBBS?

EducationRe: The medical students and aspirants thread by DharmieDhrey(m): 10:26am On Jun 14, 2020
ThanosDr:
UI is great but you have to be very ready.

300 should be seen as average.

Most UI aspirants tend to be wounded lions.

That is scholars who were shortchanged in one school or the other.

And those who are brilliant and are ready to give their all to emerge among the best.

As for the other schools if you are from their catchment you would be having a greater chance there.
Thanks ßoss.. I'm from the SouthSouth btw..scoring 300 is 50:50.. I was told someone had 297 and made it to the merit list last year..

You people should open church the way you open markets.

It is safer to be in a church than in the market. People do not move around in the church like in the market.

But we are Nigerians, we don't like to hear anything about church.
A nice point you've got there. I don't know the fuss with opening churches

Good day sir. I had 300 in UTME and I'm hoping to study medicine and Surgery. I'm prepared for intense competition however I don't want unnecessary risks..
Alexaonfleek:
nope
In 300 level,they're more than 100 sef
Pre mb is done to reduce population, sure
But if you have your average of 50 in the big 3,you're good to go.
Modified;
I might be wrong in the number of students in 300 level,I can't say.
But in every school, pre mb definitely reduces population.
And with an average of 50 too in the big 3,you'll be able to cross over.
Good day sir. I had 300 in UTME and I'm hoping to study medicine and Surgery. However, I'm prepared for intense competition but I feel I need to be guided to avoid missing out this year. Your help is highly needed.
