CareerThere Are Only Two Types Of Income In This Life by dharmillic(op): 9:01pm On Jun 10, 2017
Do you know there are 2 types of income?

According to Robert Kiyosaki, we have the
*Good income
*Bad income

I have seen people complain seriously about working so hard and at the end of the day the amount of tax deducted from their salary is so high. He termed this as a bad income. (Not that it's bad to be in a salaried job).

Now there's a good income and its an income that is taxed very little even if you earn so much. He said this is the right kind of income to focus much of your energy and passion on.

He said many people work so hard for the most productive part of their lives but have little or nothing to show for it and the end of the day (someone complained being on this situation).

Now over to you.

What kind of income are you working so hard for?

Since it's possible to work for the 2 types of income, why do you decide to keep working for that income that will always be taxed high.?

Why don't you start working to earn the right income that's more flexible, sustainable and less taxed while also earning the other type of income.

CareerRe: Recession: How Are You Coping With Less Than 20,000 Naira Salary? by dharmillic(f): 1:51am On Jun 10, 2017
CareerDifferent Types Of Salary In Nigeria (number 8 Will Surprise You) by dharmillic(op): 1:49am On Jun 10, 2017
What is your Salary? Please be Sincere.…

Sorry, I am not interested in the amount but the type of salary.

My friend, there are different types of salaries...

You will not understand unless you read to the end.

There is no average income.

The rich are becoming richer, while the poor are getting poorer.

There is no middle class 'cos it has completely disappeared.

Salary, is a specific amount of money that an employee is paid for work done.

The big question is Which type do you earn?

1. Onion Salary: - You grab it, you open it, and you cry.

2. Storm Salary: - You don’t know when it’s coming or going.

3. Menstrual Salary: - It comes once a month and lasts only four days.

4. Magic Salary: - You touch it and it disappears.

5. Amnesia Salary: - You can’t remember what you spent it on.

6. Time Travelling Salary: - You spend it paying various debts even before you collect it.

7. Active Salary - Once you stop working, it stops.

8. RESIDUAL INCOME - You work once, and it keeps paying you over and over and over again even AFTER you have stopped working.

PropertiesVERY IMPORTANT: Read This Before You Tile Your House by dharmillic(op): 8:38am On May 05, 2017
As the construction of a house winds down to the finishing stage, flooring and tiling comes to mind. You might want to have an idea of how much the cost of floor tile per square metre is before even embarking on the building project. The cost of floor tiles per square metre in Nigeria is relative to the type of tile, size as well as the area to be covered.

Floor tiles come in varying sizes and types. There are the types used for sitting room as well as those used for the toilet and bathroom. The floor tiles used for sitting room generally provide a creative expression of interior design in colour and shape. Those used for toilets and bathrooms usually have a firm grip on the feet and are gritty to combat the issue of constant wetting and to also prevent home accidents.

Tiles are usually sold per square metre with the number of square metres inscribed on each carton. Once you know the square area of the wall or floor to be tiled then you will divide that square area by the specified square metre inscribed on the carton. This is how you know the quantity of carton required for tiling.

As a rule of thumb, it is necessary to buy an extra 10% of the total cartons so as to cover for any breakage or offcuts.
In the procurement of the tiles, one must put into consideration the advantages and disadvantages of each type of tile as well as the finishing of the tiles.

Tiles vary so also does the cost of tiles too. They come in different shape and sizes. The conventional ones are 30 by 30; 40 by 40; 60 by 60; 25 by 40 among others.

Knowing the total area you want to cover with tiles is the first step. This area could be in sqft or sqm. If you calculate the total area in sqft, you will need to multiply it by 0.09 to get the corresponding measurement in sqm. Next on the list, is to get a sample tile before the cost of the tile per square metre can be determined.

Other materials needed for installation includes bags of cement, pans of sand, packets of white cement (tile cement) and of course the workmanship of the tiler depending on the square metres of the area to be tiled.

If you desire a tile made of glazed porcelain and matt finishing with low water absorption, Spanish tiles are what you should procure. They are strong in hardness and also have a good coordination in colour and lustre. They can be used in homes, offices, government and projects flooring. Deluxe clubs and lush wall tiles also install Spanish tiles for their simplicity, class, elegance and splendid colours. Spanish tiles are known to have resistance to thermal shock. They are available in various sizes and colours and are sold in standard carton and pallet.

Stages involved in Building a house

Most people that are nursing the dream of erecting a building structure are often curious about the stages involved in building their dream home. We want to give an overview of those stages

1.Seek advice from your Architect/Engineering on what type and size of land the can suit your dream house

2.look for a land speculator or agent, that will help you in getting the land that can soothes your purpose. make sure you see the land and get all necessary original document related to land before payment. you can arrange with a lawyer to help you in preparing and checking the documents to make sure you are not buying a land from the wrong person, and to avoid land with dispute.

3. You need meet with your local town planning authority in your area to make sure that land is meant for the purpose you have in mind and they can give first hand information about development pattern in that area.Land under Government acquisition will be found through this process.

4.you need to arrange with a Land surveyor to establish and draw out the site boundary, the surveyor will also put the position beacons on the boundaries.

5.The drawings of the land surveyor will be used to produce at befitting building plan for you, a set of plans building plan usually three will have to be used to seek for building plan approval.

6.Clear the site manually or mechanically(bulldozer)

7. You can now move to site, for about 2-3 bedroom bungalow at starting, get two trips of sand and a trip of gravel,

8. locate a secured place where you can keep your bags of cement

9. Acquire a tank or drum where water can always be stored for use.

10. Buy about 1000 blocks for a starter. you can choose from five, six and nine inches block as required or suggested by your builder.

11. Setting out time, in some case bricklayers uses blocks to set out a foundation most especially when it is a small building and the ground is level, The Builder can collaborate with bricklayer to do this in a some complex plan. They will have to buy woods, ropes, nails and you have to pay for the services or based on contract or as agreed.

12. After the setting out have be done foundation excavation commences, after excavation concrete is poured on the foundation and leveled. the leveling is done by a mason to ensure uniformity of foundation

13. Block laying begins. Blocks are laid by the bricklayers on the concrete to about three or more courses (Coaches) as required, this serving as the d.p.c level. It is then filled with red sand and rammed (compacted or made hard). an over-site concrete or (German floor) is poured round to cover the d.p.c (in waterlogged, sloppy or sandy area you may need to apply reinforcements or Iron at the edges of building and nylon-like membrane is used to cover some site especially when there is a threat of water problems).

14. At this stage blocks are laid to window base, four courses(coaches) or layers after marking out the doors, then after the four coaches(courses) you mark out the windows and go another five coaches(courses), the entire opening in the house is now ready for concrete lintel.

15. At this stage Iron benders or welders are involved, they will have to make their estimate the carpenter and the bricklayers are all going to work here the welder is responsible for cutting and bringing in the Iron, the carpenter makes the frame or form work to contain the concrete. The bricklayer with laborers pours(casts) into the boxes(form work) which are properly filled with concrete.

16. At least two or more layers of blocks are laid on the lintel after this the building is ready for roofing.
