FRIENDSHIP!!!
The word has been mis-interpreted by most people if not all ranging from teens, youths and adults but specifically the teens. friendship according to BBC dictionary, i was made to understand that it's a relationship or state of friendliness between two people who like each other. Now lets bring this mentality to teens. A form of relationship that exists between two or more people who like each other, a relationship based on shared interest. A relationship where you hope to achieve lot from in all ramifications, where the feeling is mutual and if all these are absent then it's no friendship.

Unlike what we have today, teens believe it's mandatory that every friend of the opposite sex must or should become a lover thereafter or an affair would arise as time goes on which is not supposed to be. Teens in this predicament loose their priority and self control claiming the feeling aroused as they played together often and before you know it your friendship is emotionally attached and from there, one thing would lead to another. No wonder most parents stir up anger in them fuming with rage whenever they see their daughters around the opposite sex. This wouldn't have been if instances like this which led to a life time regret had not happened but on the other way round, it starts from the parents" train up a child in the way he should so when he grows he would not depart from thee" most parents ignore this, deny their kids the home education they need like friendship, love affair or sexual relationship, maturity and lots more because some believe that they are corrupting the kid hoping when they grow, they would learn not knowing it's what you inculcate in your child from the onset that lives within in him or her and grows daily not withstanding, it doesn't give the child the opportunity to flirt around because your parents denied you your right instead, help yourself because it's your life they can't live it up for you.

Without derailing, we could see friendship as a kiss, in order to get any good from it, you have to give it out to someone else. Make friends because that person adds to you positively and not because everyone has a friend so should you. Have a friend who loves the unlovable, someone who gives hope to the hopeless, friendship to the friendless and encouragement to the discouraged. A friend who understands that failure is an event not a person, that yesterday ended last nite and today is your brand new day, someone who doesn't criticize, speak ill of you. A friend that would tell you the truth when others lie to you, someone who would seat you down and gear you up with a pep talk, give advise to you that if you learn from a defeat then you haven't really lost, a friend that would love you like God loves us as seen in JOHN 12;15 "my command is this, love each other as i have loved you". A friend that would forgive you when you are wrong, someone who would overlook an offender and treat the offender as not guilty.

The greatest good you can do for a friend is not to share your riches with him or her but for you to reveal to them their own riches. Friendship is not bout having a relationship with the opposite sex or committing sexual theft with whosoever because with that, your are violating the law of friendship. Keep your emotions aside when having friends sometimes you loose it and get confused. I wonder how man relationships you've had if you have feelings for every opposite sex you meet. Learn to control yourself around yourself especially the opposite sex. Make no mistake,  it could be costly! Friendship is like a car, you wash it and check the engine before you set out. While driving, change gear, match the brake pads and drive carefully to avoid pot holes.

Feb 14TH approaches and it's no news we all know what the day is but i announce to you that's its not out lovers alone, you could also enjoy the company of your friends of course, no strings attached to it. If you have a great insight, you would realize that when one says he or she is in love, its not bout the kisses, smooches or making love but the abstract thing they feel within themselves that makes the love then other things follow more like a seal or bond. Friends can share the same things, without anything attached to it. A true caring friend interested in impacting positively without no harm meant. FRIENDSHIP IS A BLESSING WHEN YOU HAVE THE RIGHT SET OF FRIENDS,

Life,Living, it's all about adaptation. If we confine ourselves to a spot away from the real world, then we would never learn how to adapt. Life could be very intimidating atimes but we shouldn't shy away from it. Life could slam the door on our faces but we should learn to face our opponent squarely no matter how many times it gets us down. It doesn't matter, the end justifies the means, what we make out of it subdues our emotional trauma.

May my ways be rough, it's not a curse! Even the times i pray for smooth knees, i still get bruised. So, WTF! No one dies a virgin in life, Life bleeps us all. We can prevent hazards but truth be told: some are just in-evitable. We don't always get what we desire, so when the bad faces us, we should be bold enough to look it in the eye without a wink. It's just part of life.

Everyday we fight pain, tears, hurts, heartbreaks and weakness. We just have to look past it. All we need to do is to change the voices in our heads and make them sound like what we want. Yeah, you could start with a smile You might think you are too young for all you are going through, you might be saying the burden is too heavy on you or maybe your load is just more than your effort. I can understand but that's where a different side of you is born. A moment of truth when people look to you to see how you overcome it, It's called A SELF BATTLE.


In this life, I have come to win, to fight, to conquer, i have come to survive, to prosper and at the end, RISE. Rise above all odds, challenges and turmoils of life. The road is rough like I wished for but very tough. I promise not to give up, I'll work harder. I was born this way, born to be a survivor, born to adapt, born to fit into any kinda skin I find myself in. So get ready for me, I CAME TO WIN!!!!
