In the Book of Acts and the Epistles of the Apostle Paul, the early Church primarily funded itself through voluntary contributions from believers. Here are some key ways the Church gathered financial support: 1. Voluntary Sharing of Possessions: In the Book of Acts, particularly in Acts 2:44-45 and Acts 4:32-35, believers are described as having everything in common. Those who owned property or possessions would sell them and give the proceeds to the apostles, who distributed the money according to the needs of the community. 2. Offerings for the Poor: Paul often organized collections for the poor, especially for the believers in Jerusalem. In 2 Corinthians 8–9 and Romans 15:25-27, Paul encourages churches in other regions to contribute financially to support the poor Christians in Jerusalem. These collections were voluntary and motivated by a spirit of generosity and solidarity. 3. Support for Apostles and Evangelists: Paul also addresses the idea that those who preach the gospel should be supported by the Church. In 1 Corinthians 9:14, Paul writes, "The Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel." Although Paul himself often chose to support himself through tent-making (Acts 18:3), he acknowledges that it is appropriate for ministers to be financially supported by the Church. 4. Hospitality and Material Support: The early Church relied on the hospitality of believers. In several of Paul’s letters, he thanks churches and individuals for providing material support, including food, shelter, and resources for his missionary journeys (Philippians 4:15-18). 5. Regular Offerings: In 1 Corinthians 16:1-2, Paul instructs the Corinthians to set aside a sum of money each week in accordance with their income, which would later be collected to aid others, especially the church in Jerusalem. These practices reflect the Church's emphasis on mutual care, generosity, and sharing resources to meet the needs of the community and further the mission of the gospel. KnowledgePower7: |

HEZBOLLAH has stashed away £400million worth of gold and cash in a secret bunker under a Lebanese hospital, says Israeli intelligence. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) claim to have uncovered the terror group's financial headquarters as they released footage showing the underground network in Beirut. The declassified intelligence was shared alongside a video showing how Hezbollah's top brass is believed to operate through hidden tunnels and secret elevators. Their underground bunker is said to be directly beneath Al-Sahel Hospital in the busy area of Dahiyeh in southern Beirut. The IDF say it is made up of at least five separate rooms including what appears to be a communal bedroom and a meeting room. They also revealed the exact location they claim Hezbollah hides its financial goods - including gold bars and stacks of cash. A huge secure room to the right of the bunker has been shown through the IDF graphic to be filled with over £400million worth of goods. The IDF claim the bunker was used by slain Hezbollah kingpin Hassan Nasrallah. Israeli intelligence also say that Hezbollah chiefs use two different entrance points to access the bunker. The illustration says that the two buildings either side of the hospital have been manipulated by the terrorists to provide tunnels for people to sneak through. One of them is the Center Al-Sahel building which is separated from the hospital by just a few feet across a road. The graphic suggests that Hezbollah have taken over the bottom few floors of the centre for their own personal use. A walkway has been hollowed out underground which connects the Center Al-Sahel building to the Al-Sahel Hospital. There also appears to be an elevator installed to transport the terror leaders between the two buildings, according to the IDF's graphic. The second network of tunnels sits under the Al-Ahmedi building which sits on the opposite side of the medical facility. This tunnel is far longer as it is separated by the hospital's car park. IDF spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari revealed the key Hezbollah infrastructure in a briefing on Monday. He said: “Tonight, I am going to declassify intelligence on a site that we did not strike. "Where Hezbollah has millions of dollars in gold and cash - in Hassan Nasrallah’s bunker. "Where is the bunker located? Directly under Al-Sahel Hospital in the heart of Beirut. “According to the estimates we have, there is at least half a billion dollars in dollar bills and gold stored in this bunker. “This money could and still can be used to rebuild the state of Lebanon.” Hagari called on the Lebanese authorities and international organisations to warn Hezbollah against using this money to rebuild and launch fresh waves of attacks. The Israeli Air Force is said to be constantly monitoring the compound but the IDF have vowed to not strike it. Hagari made it clear that Israel is at war with the terror group not Lebanon so keeping the hospital up and running is a priority. The television speech by Hagari came just hours after Israel launched several airstrikes targeting places used to fund Hezbollah's fighters. “The Israeli Air Force carried out a series of precise strikes on these Hezbollah financial strongholds," Hagari added. According to the estimates we have, there is at least half a billion dollars in dollar bills and gold stored in this bunker Daniel Hagari IDF Spokesperson IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi announced they had hit "close to 30 targets across Lebanon" on Monday. Many of these were places belonged to the financial-backers of Hezbollah known as Al-Qard Al-Hassan. The firm - who are officially registered as a charity - have been sanctioned by the US for years. Officials accuse Hezbollah of using the financial firm to cover up its own illegal spending and to gain access to the international financial system. “The Israeli Air Force carried out a series of precise strikes on these Hezbollah financial strongholds,” Halevi said. “One of our main targets last night was an underground vault with tens of millions of dollars in cash and gold. "The money was being used to finance Hezbollah’s attacks on Israel.” The unnamed official was responsible for funnelling cash from Iran to its proxy, Hagari claims. https://www.the-sun.com/news/12724127/israel-hezbollah-bunker-gold-cash-beirut-hospital/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sunyoutubestories

IRAN'S top military chief reportedly suffered a heart attack during a brutal interrogation over claims he was behind Israel's terror cull. According to unconfirmed reports, Brigadier General Esmail Qaan, 67, was transferred to Unconfirmed reports suggest Esmail Qaani, 67, suffered a heart attack during an interrogation. Qaani, the head of Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, was allegedly interrogated by his own troops. Qaani is being probed over the death of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah . It is not known what his current condition is, Sky News Arabia reports. Rumours of espionage began to swirl after the death of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in Israel's October 4 strike on a bunker in Beirut. His disappearance sparked claims that he is the traitor behind Israel’s incredible cull of Hezbollah's top brass. Qaani has not been heard of - even by his family - since the blitz on Hezbollah top brass. He was believed to have died alongside Hezbollah heir apparent Hashem Saffeieddine, 60, in the bunker blast. But sources in Lebanon, Iraq and Iran have since revealed Qaani was not at the meeting. And he dodged another strike a week earlier in which Hezbollah leader Nasrallah was blitzed. His vanishing act sparked consternation across Iran’s panicked military as rumours spread that he had turned on the evil Islamist regime. Qaani leads Iran's powerful Revolutionary Guard’s elite Quds Force and has been confirmed to be “alive and in good health” by the regime. He is also being probed over the September 27 bunker buster assassination of Nasrallah, 64. Nasrallah’s death sparked a desperate hunt for Israel’s mole by the Guard Corps - whose investigators are now said to suspect their own leader. Multiple sources said that Qaani and his team were under lockdown as interrogators demand answers. Advertisement Qaani became head of the Quds Force - the IRGC’s overseas unit - after the US killing of its previous leader, Qassem Soleimani, in January 2020. Israel has succeeded in wiping out dozens of enemy commanders across the region with intelligence led assassinations and its incredible pager and walkie-talkie bomb blitz. They included Safieddine, who is believed to have been killed at a meeting of Hezbollah’s Shura Council in Beirut which Qanni was due to attend. Qaani was, at first, thought to have been killed or wounded but has since emerged that he pulled out of the meeting. On Tuesday, Iraj Masjedi, deputy commander of the Quds Force and former Iranian ambassador to Baghdad said Qaani was “in good health and is carrying out his daily duties”. The commander of an armed faction close to Iran said: “The Iranians have serious suspicions that the Israelis have infiltrated the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, especially those working in the Lebanese arena, so everyone is currently under investigation. “Nothing is certain at the moment. The investigations are still ongoing and all possibilities are open.” Iran's probe into Nasrallah's death have also focused on the final movements of Quds force commander Brigadier General Abbas Nilforoushan, who died alongside the terror chief. Nilforoushan had only just taken over from Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, who was killed in another Israeli strike on an Iranian consulate in Syrai in April. Sources said Nasrallah had been outside Beirut’s southern suburbs the night before his killing, but returned to the area to meet with Nilforoushan in a secret operations room. Nilforoushan, who had flown from Beirut from Tehran earlier, was taken directly from the plane to the bunker beneath in the Haret Hreik suburb. And Nasrallah was killed by six enormous bunker-buster bombs as soon as he set foot in the meeting to join Qaani’s comrade. Another source said: “The breach was 100 percent Iranian and there is no question about this part.” Qaani was in Lebanon a week later and had been expected to attend the Shura Council meeting at Safieddine's invitation on the day of the air strike. But he was reported to have apologised and backed out shortly before Israel struck again. A Hezbollah source told Middle East Eye: “Israel targeted the venue of this meeting with a raid that was bigger and harsher than the raid that targeted Nasrallah. “Safieddine’s head was what was wanted, and no one else. “Qaani was invited to this meeting and under the current circumstances he should have been present.” The Israeli military said Tuesday troops have started "targeted ground raids" to flush out Hezbollah leaders https://www.the-sun.com/news/12651975/esmail-qaani-heart-attack-during-interrogation-unconfirmed/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sunyoutubestories
