Sharia law is a product of Fulani leadership in the North. As Fulani are foreigners in the North, they used their political power to implement a Sharia law against the wishes of Northern indigenes.

Sharia should be scrapped outright. It is alien to the North and foreign to Nigeria. I stand for Northern youths in saying that Sharia law is a product of Fulani foreign leadership in North Nigeria. It would be scrapped for sure, its a matter of time.

The Nigerians Government has again, countered claims of genocide against Christian in the country.

Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris, who was reacting to reports of religious persecution submitted to the US President Donald Trump by congressman, Riley Moore said there is no religious persecution in Nigeria.

The report filed by the US House Committees on Appropriations and Foreign Affairs, followed months of investigation conducted in Nigeria.

The report outlined findings on alleged persecution of Christians and broader extremist violence against those who believe in Christ Jesus.

In a statement, the Minister said, “It is important to state clearly that Nigeria does not have, and has never had, a state policy of religious persecution.

“The violence being confronted by our security agencies is not driven by government policy or religious bias, but by complex security threats, including terrorism, organised criminality, and longstanding communal tensions.

“Nigeria values its longstanding and strategic partnership with the United States. Our two countries share common interests in promoting security, economic development, and regional stability.

“We remain open to constructive dialogue and cooperation rooted in mutual respect, shared responsibility, and recognition of Nigeria’s constitutional framework and sovereignty.”

A prosecution witness in the trial of nine suspects over the June 13, 2025, attack on Yelwata in Guma Local Government Area, Benue State, has made shocking allegations in court. Moses Paul, a team leader with the Intelligence Response Team of the Nigerian Police Force, testified that more than 200 armed men carrying AK-47 rifles carried out the assault, allegedly at the behest of some Fulani chiefs.

Paul told the court that the attackers were allegedly “commissioned and funded by disgruntled Fulani chiefs” who held meetings and pooled resources to execute the attack. He testified that the first defendant, Haruna Abdullahi, was arrested in Ageregu, Nasarawa State, and during interrogation, allegedly confessed to attending meetings of Fulani chiefs in Nasarawa. These meetings, convened at the residence of one Ardo Lawal, were ostensibly to address alleged unfair treatment of Fulani people, including the killing of their cattle and kinsmen.

According to the testimony, the chiefs mobilised funds and engaged armed men to carry out the attack. The initial target was reportedly Daudu community, but upon encountering resistance there, the assailants diverted to Yelwata, where more than 200 people were killed and properties worth millions of Naira were destroyed.

The court declined a bail application for the first defendant, whose counsel informed the court he had suffered a stroke in custody. Justice Joyce Abdulmalik adjourned the matter to February 27 for continuation of trial.

As the 2027 elections draw nearer, we want to encourage qualified Northern indigenes to come out and stand for elections. We call on educated and accomplished Northern indigenes to join political parties and stand for elections in their Land.

Accordingly, we want to warn Political parties to beware of fielding non-indigenes in any election in the North. Specifically, the only people who are not indigenous to the North are the fulanis.

Fulani politicians can go contest elections in Futa Jallon their real home, not Nigeria. Nasir El-Rufai, Terrorist Kwankwaso, Atiku, Matawelle, Bala Mohammed, etc., and all the Fulani governors, commissioners, in the North,, who are also terrorists, we say your Time is UP. The Nigerian Navy must not rest on its oars. It must not rest nor slack. Having been ranked as a top Navy in Africa,, Navy chiefs must ensure that the force remains on top, and not slide down.

To remain on top, Navy chiefs must now develop a new 10yrs strategic plan. The plan would consider current strengths, weak points and capability gaps, and set out policy and plans to improve over the next 10yrs.

Possible areas the Plan should focus on are:

A) New flagship (× 1 multi-purpose frigate)
B) Submarine warfare (×3 submarines)
C) Dedicated Anti-submarine boats x3 (based on the NNS Oji , but equipped with towed sonar, torpedo, dept charges, missiles, etc)
D) Sub-surface Falcon eye (if not in existence)
E) Navy Air Wing (×6 helicopter gunships for long range rapid defence).
F) Landing platform Dock x1 (doubles as helicopter carrier and Drone carrier)
E) Electronic warfare ship x1 (Navy intelligence)
F) Navy DICON (made in Nigeria radar, missiles and combat management software)

Also, made-in-nigeria boats should be prioritized. The Navy should improve the NNS Oji as a standard template for its patrol boats. And set up processes to ensure faster construction of the Oji class boats.

The NNS Aradu should be refitted in Nigeria as a "Navy skills development Project". Foreign Experts could be brought in to direct the project. But the refit and systems upgrades should be done in Nigeria by the Navy to develop their skills. Crane-based Ultra-sonic scanner for ships should be acquired as well as all relevant equipment for the project. That is how to develop skills and capabilities.

The new 10yr strategic plan should focus on improving our Strength, and addressing our capability gaps. We must remain No. 1 for a long time. I trust our Navy generals to deliver.
