since joblessness is worrying me so I decided to take this time-out to share the experience I had on my journey to
portharcourt with a calabar lady (Gift).


On the 25th November 2011.
I was working with a telecom company. we got dis RF installation job at PH so I was posted from lagos. I boarded a bus at Ojota Park I decided to sit at the extreme end by d window then a young pretty lady came in as she finds her way to a sit next to me, immediately I said "Hi" her look was like " something dey ur head abi" so I maintain my lane jejely .

So the bus get on da way, as we approach Ore d bus developed mechanical faults , the driver called a mechanic inless then 30mins he arrived, he spends like an hour fixing it b4 then commuters are already ranting, so we get on da way, we had a Lil stopover at Benin for commuters to buy refreshment Gift brought suya n soft drink every other persons in d vehicle gets 1 or 2 stuffs except me dis prompted Gift to break d silent she said
hey!"ain't you buying"
I said "No"
she " u don't mind if I share with you"
me "am okay, thanks"
she " common talk to me"
so I opened up I told her am having stomach ache"
she " oh! sorry"
so our journey continue after 40mins drive the bus had another mechanical fault again by now commuters going for the driver head so he made a shocking confession that the bus was attacked last night on his way to lagos n he drove into the bush, n since then the bus has developed the fault, the fixing took about an hour n 30mins finally we get on da way. by now Gift & I tagging along nicely shortly after many gist she started dossing off resting her head on my shoulder.

we finally get to PH around 12am do to the delays we encountered n me as a first timer (JJC) while we were in the bus had received a text from my co engineer containing the address of where they lodged, I showed it to Gift she said don't worry when we drop. all commuters dropped at waterlines , Gift herself did not no Makoba so we asked the ppl at the park n we were told I can't get a bus that night . I thought of lodging in an hotel but I had #1500 with me and no ATM machine around, Gift took a deep breath and said
" I hv a friend around if u don't mind we can pass the night there" in my thoughts I said I don enter wahala, weytin I go do.
me " no problem, thanks with a sigh.
we walked like 5 minutes, on getting to the place they were 2 guys in the room one of them ushered us in n Gift asked the other guy to see her outside , at this point i grabbed my phone and text my Co engineer the detailed of what happened including my current location n my helper name in case things goes wrong. they both came in n told me to join the other guy on the bad that they'll sleep on the floor I insisted both of them were adamant so I gave up but my eyes were opened till dawn.
she help me locate the hotel the following morning n went her way.
2days later she came to pay me a visit we gist n gist, I noticed she kept on checking time as a gentle guy I remained calm until she said "get up here and do what you wanna do"
I was shocked and don't no what to do or say, she pulled me closer n stripped me n herself so we get down. she never knew I was a virgin till date, we are still good friends.
