Personally I think all these rash and foolhardy comments from university students like us (because we're already UItes) is shameful. UI is this, UI is that..., were you forced to choose UI in your jamb or direct entry form? NO. So why the mindless rantings? We have to display a character that matches the new level we've attained. We're no longer secondary school students that always want to be spoon-fed and given easy tasks. THIS IS THE UNIVERSITY LEVEL, THIS IS UI. NO MORE FREE & EASY LIFE. YOU GOTTA BE A HUSTLER AND NOT A COMPLAINER. Let's quietly and respectfully go about filling our forms, that's all. Childish rants is no longer encouraged from a university student! |

Bobola07: Bro, the first thing you did that fell hands was that you didn't register for this jamb. honestly, I'm really pained.
Maybe I should explain this ELDS stuff from my own point of view.
Your course cutoff is 63. Good.
after the merit folks have been shortlisted,
they turn to ELDS.
now, there are many ELDS states.. don't know the exact number.
let me use kogi, rivers and borno in this illustration.
now, assuming 9,6 and 3 students fall into this category in order of they way I listed the states.
the highest score from each state is taken in for that course thru ELDS. maybe one or two. so, assuming the highest score in kogi is 62, the highest in rivers is 59.5 and the highest in borno is 57. those 3 individuals will be admitted.
now, I think the school will then peg ELDS cutoff at 57, which happens to be borno's score. this signifies that nobody with less than 57 was considered for admission through ELDS.
So, you might have made more than 57, but someone was ahead of you in your own state.
to save your time, I'll advice you do A'Level programs this year: IJMB, JUPEB, Cambridge A' Level, so that you can apply for direct entry next year and meet up.
Remain blessed. Very true bro. You gave him a good advice. Any other person here who hasn't registered should consider enrolling for IJMB , JUPEB or Cambridge Advanced Level programmes. But remember YOU MUST WORK HARD. I passed through one of them myself and am the better for IT. It's not ordinary level but Advanced level stuff, so you must make up your mind to upgrade/improve your general attitude so you can produce a sound result. |

ChiomaMee: I did mine yesterday but I have a little issue. I paid through my mum's account and my mum's name reflects on the receipt. I hope it doesn't change anything?? . It doesn't. The school knows it's mostly parents/guardians who would make the payment. Her name is there as the bank "customer name" not "student name." That's why you were asked to confirm that such and such person was going to make a payment in favour of your name (as per acceptance fee payment). |

kingtunde: You can just do it with your ATM card. Simple and faster.
I did mine lying on my bed. I have a laptop though You can do it also with your smartphone and a working chrome browser. And yes, the cyber café would charge you for the services they're providing. What cyber café runs their business on credit or charity? None |

Yusuf54: Has UI released DE admisn list ? check with jamb. They went on strike before that could happen, however, if you qualified your name would be sent to jamb for ratification and eventual upload. You can now print your admission letter etc etc |
