As regards that, the people in charge of clearance and hol are few I met about 2 people doing the clearance thing. I don't know about hor but I think after clearance, the person in charge of clearance collates the names of those who have been cleared and send it to those that will assign hor and matric number ( office of the Dean of students)


The process is much but you guys should calm down, you'll soon get your halls

ANECDOTE OF MY VISIT TO UI
Good morning fam.
I went to UI yesterday and the first place I visited was Prof Wole Soyinka's former house @Ebrohime Close where my family friend who's a Prof in UI now resides.
From there, I proceeded to JAJA CLINIC for my Chest X-Ray which was successful.
And from there, I proceeded to KUTI HALL: THE HALL OF GREAT MEN which was just behind JAJA to make some enquires about the hall and I was astonished by the responses I got from the two lecturers I was privileged to meet. One of them asked me and I quote verbatim "You runzed it abi?" or "your father is an academic prospect or a senator?" and I replied NO. Then, he went on to say "you're very lucky cos Kuti is a special hall that's always reserved cos that's the hall of senators and high ranking people's son and it's one of the best hall in UI if not the best although there are other nice HOR like TEDDAR WHICH WAS PROF WOLE SOYINKA'S HOR during his days" Some Kutites should be proud by now lol and i guess Nltaliban should be a bit elated with the capslocked lol.
Then, I proceeded to the Admissions Office to make enquires on the clearance issue on behalf of MrHistorian (who's very close to UI and doesn't want to abuse it lol), Ajet001 ( the custodian of this thread), Pes13, Sirghalad, Diamondsville and others who hasn't been cleared yet. One of the admissions officer said to me "Tell your friends to be patient. I also have some candidates with same issue. It's just that this year's admission is one kind one kind from on set but they should all be cleared by Friday (that's today) provided their uploaded docs are legit, clean and clear."

Guys chill, you don't even need to go to portal.ui.edu.ng , just keep checking your dashboard in admissions.ui.edu.ng you will know when to go on to pay.

For mellanbites here, I doubt know how the allocation of bed spaces will look this year but if you're given the opportunity to pick a room, it's preferable you pick from (A61 - A72), preferably A63(in optimum condition) which are all on the ground floor considering fetching of water. Avoid Dungeon A80+ by all means

Okay @Diction7. Thanks. I also couldn't get my Dad to sign the document. He signed on an A4 paper and sent it to me. I just edited and pasted the signature picture there. Hope I am safe?

bro pls d second part of d jamb 03 form which requested for d examination you entered for wat are d exams to be filled
and also d first part which requestwd for utme subjects, as a D.E student dat dosent sit for utme how am I to go abt dat
thirdly there are some places where by U.I requested for 2 docs bt whereas dey only provide space to upload juat a document e.g the guarantors letter..whats d solution

UI isn't perfect(no one is) and as such,their actions regarding the handling of admission exercise should be thoroughly criticized if there is a need to,as a result of their shortcomings.I don't want to believe you are advocating for a "dummy-like" set of students where expression of dissatisfaction is forbidden?

As most people would say,objective criticism is a step towards positive development.

You never know who reads post from this forum,We should keep expressing our displeasure.
