Being optimistic is not the surest way to pass.
Confess it's tiring and boring if it is and find a way to tackle it abeg.

I am a direct entry student and I have to be frank with you. Don't expect anybody to give you fish —that's what they do in secondary schools. This is a university, you need to take responsibility for your mental, spiritual, Social, health, academic etc education. Doing the same thing but expecting a different result, not what you should be doing now. They'll continually read those texts, but you, what can you do about it? Not complain or say negative things. You quietly go about finding a solution, meet those who know better amongst your friends, study harder & believe & pray hardest. It's time to grow up. This place separates the men from the boys, I hope you'll understand that sooner. Be committed to finding solutions even when things don't quite work out the way you want. Man up to the challenge, lady up to the challenge. Don't back down, because that's one of the factors that gives you a sound & consistent CGPA through different levels. Go and be great!

Please let's eschew the use of words like "very frustrating, boring, etc." Whatever that happens has a positive value attached to it, you can only gain access to it if you're optimistic & have the mind of a disciple—one that seeks learning. I want to challenge everyone here to take up a 2/3 month challenge of zero complaints, negative words/confessions etc. Only positive, inspiring words should be used. You'd be amazed at the transformation your life would witness. Your time starts now

We have 4-6 years to familiarize with the environment, UI wants us to be strong, innovative and independent that's what I noticed. They don't provide all the detail, they rather expect that we come & sort things out for ourselves. And personally, I love the challenge. It'll bring out the best in me & others who key in...

By "ladies hall",I wouldn't know what the person meant.... But from my perspective, females are allowed in all male HOR as vice versa when it's the visiting time... Don't panic, I experienced this "waiting period" too. Just be calm and keep praying for them to speedy up everything. Our VC has already assured us that we'd be attended to, so be of good spirit. Your HOR, MATRIC NUMBER will soon be assigned you.

All fresh students offering science related courses have their lectures in a big lecture theatre, they call it CBN. That's the way it is for your first year.

Have you registered?

After registration, you get automatically scheduled for your X-ray at Jaja Clinic or one of those medical centres around UI. I don't know if they accept X-ray result from other unaccredited hospitals.

Please do not do your x-ray elsewhere! We are strictly using the accredited hospitals/diagnostic centres in UI.
