Food / Re: Big Size Kenwood Cake Mixer by didicold(f): 10:28am On Sep 20, 2013
Hi, i dont know much about baking but getting ur equpiment depends on ur location, if in lagos y dont u try d shop rite or dosunmu market in lagos island, if in abuja try wuse market or dose big shoppinmalls, try d ones wit electronic, mayb grandsquare or d shoprite around dat aso/ apo, den if u know some bakers in ur area u can ask dem where dey get dier electronic equipment and from dere begin ur search for d great kenwood
Romance / Re: God loves you by didicold(f): 9:59am On Sep 20, 2013
@kofsy
just take d guys' advice, deal wit d guy howeva u see fit but leave d girl alone ,and u know from all dis ur write up and responses,d fiance is comin across as eida spineless man dat lets his woman face his problems for him or he is genuinely interested in dis sidechick, babe eida way, d fiance is d key, all d "how do u deal wit d chick" is long story. I know guys somewhat and i know when a strong man says STOP ,woe betide d woman who says odawise, its not about getting physical but if he means what he says d calls from dat girl will die down and he should be d one finding ways to deal wit her not d fiancee, nd where does she get off calling d oda chick to confirm,of course she wont get a good answer, for all we know d side chik mite av lied.
Just sort out d issues wit d guy, d gal is a no-go area for me.
Food / Re: Tea Or Liquor: What’s Best For A Lagos Weekend? by didicold(f): 8:21am On Sep 20, 2013
Dat is so wrong, even for d lagos ajebutter u will find dat dey dont drink so mcuh alcohol in d mornin, human beings r creatures of habit and as most of us(lagosians) have been raised with weekend tea in d mornin with eida bread or yam and d likes, of course d tea and milk industry cant run down in nigeria. U just try do a survey by going to a regular "chemist" or supermarket or even d roadside mallam on saturday morning in lag, u will find ppl buyin all kinds of beverage just to make dat tea, be it milo or lipton or horlicks, it is still tea, and no one ,not Heineken Or Smirnoff or Guiness can take dat legacy away! *Sighs and slumps @ d end of narrative*
PS- i need to go get me my mornin fix of tea fast
Food / Re: Nigerian Lunch Dilenma by didicold(f): 8:11am On Sep 20, 2013
I cook for my sister's lunch also and dis is what i do.
We av good power supply in our area, so in d beginning of d month i go shopping and cook like four diff soups to put in d freezer(snail stew, regular beef/chicken stew, veggie soup(riro or egusi or both)), after all dis regular cookin becomes easy.for her lunch, i usually make white rice or jollof rice or jollof spag or some times yam and d snailstew/fried eggs.u can leave an off day in d week when he can eat his burger or u send him off with a piece of cake and maybe an apple or some oda fruit .
I usually cook d meals in d evenin and refridgerate,in d morning she packs whatever she wants e.g cold rice and cold stew , and takes it to work like dat, when she is ready for lunch ,she uses d office microwave and voila lunch is ready,u can also make some moimoi (inside nylon)on d weekends(in excess ) and refridgerate, durin d week he can be taking it one by one eida as a meal itself or as an addition to d rice or spag. For d yam ,u av to cook dat in d mornin and put d stew on it,i usually use small snails so dere iz more to chew on, like 4pcs or 7pcs with two large slices of yam. U can also make a fcrumbled fish stew or a whole fish stew to go with d yam. U can also learn to make some snacks e.g samosa and d likes ,and u pack it wit some fruit. For d jollof dishes, u can top it with a boiled egg or meat and also fried plantain @ur own discretion.
But if u dont av good power supply ,u av to cook d food in d mornin o.
