First of All, my apologies, this review should have come weeks ago.
GroundZero Gaming 008 held at the African University of Science and Technology(AUST) on the 27th of April and yours truly was there representing GameNaija.

I had intended to attend with my friend Jeff mostly to observe and sell some Game Naija Gaming Gear (which you can check out on our online Store) but ended up being drafted into a team (for the COD:Modern Warfare Tournament, sadly we were drawn in the very first round against Team PDP. These were the two time reigning champions, needless to say, we got slaughtered (also considering I haven’t played any Call of Duty for over a year, I try sef).

THE EVENT

GZG 08 was bigger and better than the ones before, Besides the COD:Modern Warfare and FIFA Tournaments, there was the regular Gaming Lounge as well as IT and gaming Gear Equipment Exhibition and Sales.Everything from Laptops, Flash Drives, Gaming Heaphones, Mice and more. There were brief talks by the sponsors…yes you heard right …”sponsors”(read more below), and another by some guy who had created his own game (Cant remember his name right now). There were also some guys playing Chess on a good old physical chessboard.

It's a nice concept with only feet and other parts... the part where the guy changed his slippers from the old red and green pairs to MTN yellow was funny as hell..
and the dance stepped up as the music went on... Also awesome quality ...

BOT come in at number 3, these guys went ahead to do full short film ooo.... the reason I put them at number 3 is that at some point, the ad seemed too long and like they were trying too hard to explain portability while the contest simply asked for fun and dancing.. they did dance at the end but it was a bit long to wait.... Else they probably would have had a higher position...
In all lovely entry at the number 3 spot...Plus the quality is nice

At number 4 is EWDA, while the dance isn't too spectacular, they had some sort of creative concept with the taxi and all and all of them changing to yellow, for this they have the number 4 spot

By now, we are all aware of the fact that number portability is here to stay and how MTN started the war with a masterstroke advert by stealing Saka right from under Etisalat's nose. The rest is history..(if you havent still watched the ad, watch it here)..

To further promote Number Portability to MTN, they launched a Dance Contest telling groups of 5 to prove they can dance better than Saka did..The Contest ended yesterday, the 10th of may 2013, Searching YouTube ..there are hundreds of entries.. I have watched almost all of them and here are my top 5.. I made my decisions based on creativity of the video, how funny/viral it is and quality ....
I wont be surprised if several of my choices make it to MTN's final selection...
