There is a nagging need to create a massive awareness on the importance of ICT among school children, youth and corp members and the roles it play in developing an economy especially with emerging nations like Nigeria.

At an event organised by National Information Technology Development Agency, NITDA in collaboration with Totalview Nigeria for ICT sensitization of secondary schools in Abuja, Barr. Adebayo Shittu, The minister of Communications Technology confirmed that the Federal Government of Nigeria will be building atleast one Information and Communications Technology (ICT) university in the six geo-political zones of the country.
