I wouldn't advice you disable that file app. It's very important. It enables you print from your phone. Imagine you want to print a mail from Gmail app, you'll have to save as file. The file app handles this to save it as PDF. I use HP printer app.

ok...wen next it comes up....swipe file manager from left screen...and select sdcard as root storage...thats all...

Please can you be a little bit clearer I went to my file manager and swiped from left but I didn't see that option please help with a screenshot sorry for the stress

Goto settings - installed apps -
At the top right of ur screen. Select the 3 dots and hit "show all apps"
Then scroll down or search for app named "Files"
Select it... After selecting...look below ur screen and "Enable"
...
If successful go back and try to move,the permission with grant u options to allow or reject...just allow...

But it only showed me force stop and disable and I accidentally clicked force stop
Its already enabled I guess

Please someone should help I can't delete files from my file manager its saying couldn't delete file and to get permission

Like already said, it's just like having an entirely new phone. Or like how we create a new user on a PC with different login details.

The fun of it is that you can use fingerprint for the first space and use just pin for the second space. Whenever your phone is locked and someone asks you for password, just give them the pin for the second space, they'll open and find no apps installed or pics / music. But once you lock the phone and use fingerprint, first space opens with all your data/apps

Good morning people... please yesterday I tried to update my Redmi note 5A but after downloading the update, I was told that I couldn't install it as my battery percentage wasn't upto 30%, I therefore left it. It is OK phone. Battery life is good but u need like 3 hrs to recharge it from 0 to 100 %. Camera is below average. Check my previous posts
