Nigeria Government is to promise and promise NO ACTION! We don't want to hope or have faith in any Government until we see ACTIONS. A visionary Government does need a year to prove his worth of leadership. After all, in employment system, employees  only have six month probation  to deliver or they get sacked. Why is it that the Government does not have a target within Six months?. The  answer are because they have no vision, no planning and no delivering time table and they also lack respect for the people of the nation.

If GEJ, members of senate, members of Reps and all state Governments wants to prove that they are true leaders who has respect for the nation they are ruling, they should set a six month target for themselves to achieve each below in order of priority and the impact should be felt by the people of the nation. Otherwise, we the people Nigeria should re-vote against them and they will not find peace since they refuse to give people Good life.

Upgrade Security system, Review of the judiciary system and effective journalism system 100%

If these methods are apply to all political Government in Nigeria, then you will see the that political business will fall.

I had the same experience in 2008, I lost 2M because I was confused like you.There is no avenue I did try to recover my money,area DPO ,lawyer, court, CP Office Ikeja, omonile and personal negotiation with the tenants and the fraudster. The fraudster even gave me a cheque and abscond because he knew I don't live in town.All these did not solve the problem. I end up refunding the tenants a year rent and allow them to stay one year and vacate the compound as advised by CP.
Well, my advice to you is to settle this matter between you, your friend and members of his family. But if they refuse, it is either you pay the tenants off or allow him to stay for the period he has paid for and vacate your compound.As for your friend,allow his conscience to judge him
