Politics › Re: Gbadebo Is Yoruba, Named by My Father – Olawale Rhodes Vivour (GRV’s Father) by Dindondin: 12:29pm On Jan 21, 2025*. Modified: 3:27pm On Jan 21, 2025 |
emmanuelson20: Gbadebo Chinedu Patrick Rhodes-Vivour is a dynamic individual with a rich cultural heritage. His father is Yoruba, while his mother is of Igbo descent, reflecting Nigeria's diverse ethnic tapestry. Married to Dr. Ifeyinwa Rhodes-Vivour, who is also Igbo, Gbadebo has embraced his maternal heritage by becoming fluent in Igbo. Interestingly, despite his Yoruba roots, he does not speak Yoruba.
Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour imagines a Lagos where all ethnic groups are respected and empowered, fostering inclusivity and prosperity. He emphasizes the importance of sustainable development, accountable governance, and a strong opposition to promotes progress for every Lagosian.
As a visionary leader, Gbadebo seeks to become the Governor of Lagos State, driven by his desire to bring about positive change and unity in one of Nigeria's most influential regions. Lagos is Yorubaland. There's no way that state will accommodate other roots before first considering Yorubas. He shouldn't have been too far from his home. Nigerian tribes don't love each others genuinely so nobody should blame Yorubas for holding tight to their Lagos. That is how every tribes act. This Chinedu cannot contest and win in his mother's state nor his sisters. In fact, his mother can't win in her state. If it's a lie, let them contest and see first class tribalism from their fellow tribes. It's reality of present day Nigeria that's not integrating. |

seunmsg: lol. His grandfather named him Gbadebo but there is no Gbadebo on all his school certificates. Even his birth record had to be altered to reflect Gbadebo. Dunno where the guy made mistake. But there are reports of him using slurs against his people in the past. He even talked about a popular clergy in a demeaning way. Lagos is Yorubaland and anyone that isn't ready to do will of his people will have issues. I don't like cheating but some facts are sacrosanct |

There are many unpatriotic things Nigerians say. The same way there are many unpatriotic things govt of Nigeria do to her citizens. In this age, you just have to balance up your life, pain and gain. Can a child be hurt to cry and you will dictate how the child's crying volume or pattern will be? Make una fear God |

diamond68: The most populous black nation on the planet and the biggest economy in Africa trying to break out of Caucasian hegemony by joining BRICS ? This is akin to opening up a floodgate for others to follow as Nigeria is one of the global trendsetters. And so it is inevitable for Trump to wage heavy massive war against tinubu. You will not be allowed to create a floodgate for African countries to join BRICS. TINUBU better be ready for war of attrition. You can't take a man's food and expect him not to fight back. PressMyButton: We know their plans but Ashiwaju is prepared, always a step ahead. That ragtag terrorist, Bello Turji was boasting and asking the military to come and get him and when they did, he ran away leaving his son behind. The military used his son to send a message to him. Every terrorists and vandals dem go collect and the enemies of the state that are happy whenever they strike and carry out their atrocities against the country. All of you will collect. Jagaban till 2031.
After God, na Tinubu 💪 God bless Nigeria Name and prosecute them. A govt with balls won't be doing media trial. Nigeria should just work irrespective of who's in power. All of you should remember posterity. |

MasterJayJay: EFCC later banned night raids on November 2023.
So why did they disobey the ban? Because Nigeria is a lawless nation. Some of the raids were not directed from their offices but by overzealous quick cash officers who prey on yahoo boys or those that look suspicious to them. The day I heard how they burgled a neighbor, I thought it was thieves. That's how terrible their night raids can be. |
