What makes America where they are today is they try to make sure nobody is bigger than their institutions, recently Trump was arrested and taken to court, once institutions fail injustice prevails, it is not a guess work or we should try if this person will do well or not.

Nigerians are suffering not just because of what the leaders are doing but virtually all the institutions have failed, a lot of people are bigger than so many institutions, who can hold them accountable?, injustice becomes the order of the day.

That was the same mistake OBJ made in his time, he conducted elections and always rigged making himself bigger than the electoral institution, when he had the opportunity to strengthen the electoral institution and its laws, but he did not because it favoured him, in 2007 he rigged election for Yaradua because he wanted Yaradua as president.

Fast forward to 2023 he wanted Obi to be president, that institution he did not make strong to work for the people was to work against him and Nigerians, he would have done Nigerians a huge Favour back then by making sure that the institution worked, OBJ won in 2007 for Yaradua but Nigeria lost and is still losing because failed institutions, same thing is happening, Tinubu wants to have his way, if he wins in the court, he wins and Nigeria would lose again.

We want Nigeria to be like America, Canada, UAE, Saudi Arabia and so on but we don't want to do what they are doing with their institution, we want to be doing trial and error with hope in mind that the system will somehow just work.

No country in the world has ever grown with the way we are handling things in Nigeria with our institutions, no matter how much hope you put.

My Pastor once asked OBJ why he did the things he did as president, he said he felt he was doing the right things for the country...

But he was doing it the wrong way which made him do the wrong things, same thing Tinubu and co are doing today and we want our country to be like those countries I listed, we can't continue deceiving ourselves with hope in mind that things will just change.

I want a president that would be elected into office with the institutions working for the people, If Tinubu is to win let him win credibly and Obi is to lose let him lose credibly and vice-versa, let the institutions work for the people....
