Muslims think everyone is as gullible as they are. In Christianity, the physical posture you adopt while praying means absolutely nothing. It is the sincerety of the your heart towards God that determines the pureness of a Christians prayers.

Jesus said in John 4:23 that:

....The true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

That is foundation upon which Christian prayer is built. On spiritual conviction and truth.

As you have mentioned my brother, Jesus also prayed by lifting his eyes to the heavens in John 17:1


These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee......


Compare Jesus' lifting of his eyes towards heaven with what Muhammad said about praying in this manner:

Allah's Apostle said: People should avoid lifting their eyes towards the sky while supplicating in prayer, otherwise their eyes would be snatched away

And you can see that Muslims are a confused and pitiful lot of people.

One thing i find funny is how Muslims love to claim that the bible has been corrupted but still pick verses from it when those verses seem to agree with their belief. Any verse that disagrees or contradicts their belief is immediately branded as one of the corruptions of the bible.

I believe you must have come across the below picture circulating the internet. Muslims use it to make claims that Yahshua the Messiah was a Muslim cos Mathew 26:39 states that he fell on his face to pray, something they say is similar to how they pray. Nowhere in the entire bible did Yahshua the Messiah order Christians to pray in that manner, that's why Christians can pray lying down, sitting down, standing up etc. It is even recorded that Yahshua prayed while in different position.

John 17:1

When Jesus had spoken these things, He lifted His eyes to heaven and said, “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son may glorify You.

If Yahshua was a Muslim cos Islamists say he fell on his face and prayed, then how come Muslims don't lift their eyes to heaven to pray like he also did in the above verse?


If you look at the below picture very well and also all the other of such picture circulating social media, you will realize that they never quote the entire verse of Mathew 26:39. Why is that so?

It is so because they know that it rubbishes the lies of Islam.

Islam and the Quran say God has no Son at all.

Quran 17:111

and say:"All praise is due to God, who begets no offspring, and has no partner in His dominion, and has no weakness, and therefore no need of any aid" -and [thus] extol His limitless greatness. - (Asad)


But in the verse that these Muslims love to quote to support their form of worship, we find Yahshua proving them wrong.


Mathew 26:39

And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will."


Did you notice Yahshua calling God his Father? That means he's God's Son. So, every time Muslims quote that verse to support their form of worship, tell them they are shooting themselves in the foot cos the same verse shows God to be Yahshua's Father, a thing which their Quran rejects.
