Ok let me explain in my own terms what a margin call is. It is when you place a trade, then the trade goes against you. With brokers like marketiva, even if you didn't put stop loss, they will end the trade when it gets to a certain level. With meta4 platform brokers, you lose all the money in your account and the account goes into negative like happened to me with litefx-this means you don't only lose your money but you go into debt. For example if the account becomes -40, if you fund again, instead of your money being in your account, -40$ will be subtracted automatically and whatever is left is yours.

You might not understand what ℓ̊ wrote above but in lay man terms if you sit in front of your computer while having a margin call, either you shi. t for body or you catch cold. Guy you don't want to experience it.

If you eventually learn, please demo trade-trading with fake currency, for at least 3 months, even if you make +300 pips your first week and people start calling you FX guru, continue the demo. If you hurry τ̅☺ fund live account and the money get accident. Do not say there is a conspiracy behind it. That's FX for you.

As for learning, visit babypips dot com to learn. There is no magic. As for strategies, ℓ̊ will send a sh. it load of indicators that is if ℓ̊ haven't deleted them including London rush and FX analyzer. Even robots, tons and tons of useless softwares. Guy ℓ̊ de vex, in the long run FX is a waste of time, I stand to be corrected.

It is not sir. There is a secret to success behind every biz in life and Forex is not an exception. Its just that hardly will any one truely show you there fishing hole. Sorry about your margin calls anyway but don't give up yet.

kenostika: I remembered that u said u dont use stop loss,u would have saved half of ur account balance.pls go and read about MM seriously.i know u ar a good trader with a wonderful system but their is no holy grail system that can guarantee u 100% success.Money management is the ONLY guarantee in Forex business.i was very successful in demo,built lots of accounts but lost all due to greed(high lot size).i learnt alot frm that.in my Live account, i open a maximum of two trades with small lots size and a wide stop loss(100-150pips)and i am making it.i also avoid any thing JPY cos it wrecks account always.take heart and never give up on trading,be persistent.Goodluck.

bond777: Bros the market can move even 3000+ pips against u. Believe me. Not trading with stop loss is FEAR and gambling - cos u 'll b hoping the market 'll come back and it may never come in the near future. If u re so sure of your trading y are u scared to place a stop loss? SL is aimed at ensuring u do not loss your capital as capital preservation is far better than profit taking. You may be happy now but mark my words "one day monkey go market he no go come back".

Ogboraph: Thank you my brother the truth is that i traded GPBJPY and USDJPY this two pair was what wipe out my account the move was over 100pips down on friday just like magic, one candle stick on the 5min candle did the magic. you guys should check it and see; i place the order with 3.00lot each on high leverage just at the news time, by my clock 1:30pmGMT befor i look i saw every thing was red alert magin call and i had about 6 orders placed. trading 7 pair at a time which i hardly do. i ve learn in the hard way. too painful my head was almost off my body my hard earn dollas gone just in one second i find it hard to forgive my selfishness and greed

unclenna: Many loses are as a result of stoploss. If only you can understd d way institutional traders trade.....men those guys don't use stoploss.

This is only suitable for the pros. On the other hand "Force majure" - War, Earthquake, hurricane etc makes trading fx without stop loss in place very risky.

If I decide to give reasons, I ll begin to sound like a too- know forex guy, which the market has taught me not to do. Cos once u get caught in that too sure mentality, u hardly accept you re wrong even after you re on 100 pips on the wrong side! This is why I don't really .................

But Cos of your question, on 4hrs and daily candle formation, I was expecting a buy, on euro for example, the Thursday candle showed a perfect reversal(check it n look properly again).

A kinda Harmer with the head sitting down signaling its not gonna get pass this point, and as soon as Euro making 5 pips above the Thursday highest price, then it's signaling a up move.

Then as for GU, on horly candle, the market has taught me that anytime the market price is hanging around the upper end of an hourly candle, it's going to go this way based on wot I have seen over the years.

And then, 21 and home base are all supporting a buy, then I just take it , no matter what everyone else is saying. And then I wear my stops like 50-60ips away, and if am wrong good, and if am right good. Every trader must accept his own responsibility.

We can all pick a lot and learn and help our trading results. No hard feeling, no mocking or regretting, it's a market.
