E.D.G (Education Development Goals) under the community development service in Ohafia local government area, Abia state went out on a sensitization to inform and educate the general public about the issues of punctuality of students to school as it relates to parents, the issue of textbooks and paying of fees. The sensitization took place at Ebem market in Ohafia local government area, Abia state and was led by a group of Abia state corps members. Akpore Eguono Love (vice president of E.D.G, Ohafia Chapter), said that some of the major problem we are facing in our educational system here in Nigeria is the issue of parents buying textbooks for their children and also paying of their child's school fees. After brief interview with the copper, he rounded everything up by saying the parents should try to encourage and support their children in those aspects because one of the best gift ever for parents to their children is education.
