Bobodee09: I really missed my bachelor days.....every weekend was pure enjoyments for me.
Have decided to take care of myself more . Better do, you are hard working, dedicated family Man. So you deserve it. Still take care of your family very well, don't let them lack. But don't neglect yourself. I have seen Men like you suffer serious ailments because they didn't take care of themselves, because they focused only on others and forgot about themselves. Even Christ admonished us to Love your neighbor as yourself. But if you don't love yourself, how can you be able to Love others around you. When you begin to take good care of yourself, it will even affect your relationship. Your woman will sit up knowing he's not married to a loser. So take good care of your family but don't neglect yourself. Peace |

Bobodee09: My actual problem is fear of the unknown and unforseen expenses.
For instance last year March my daughter just came back from school and by night she got really sick. In just 6days we spent over 200k on hospital bills.
I don't have people to run to for help, infact I hardly even ask anyone for help...so I can't afford to be financially stranded.
So that my fear which limits me alot but I think I need to put it aside now. Actually I understand you But this doesn't stop you from buying like 2/3 trousers or appareals/ clothes It's great you are shouldering your responsibilities, I salute you. But don't neglect yourself. I used to be like you. Couple of years back I made a bit good money. But my madam, my home expenses, almost chop everything except the ones I invested back in my business. Only for my madam, to ask me when we were quarrelling wetin I use the money do? Because I told her about the money. When I reminded her all the money I gave her, she no fit talk again. That taught me a very big lesson. Now all my earnings, I still take good care of my family, but I don't neglect taking care of myself. I buy good clothes, shoes, etc. This year in Sha Allah I go take better vacation abroad even if na Rwanda or Qatar etc cause I no come this Life to watch others enjoy themselves. I work very hard and play harder |

GloriousGbola: wetin man go do?
go for meeting with danfo and enter meeting room sweating and smelling? move pikin to gofamint school? exchange camry for starlet? That's why people should live wisely I was listening to one of my mentors recently talk on how he's managed his finances well. For example that his present lifestyle He can still maintain it, even if he's not making any money for the next 2 years. So people should live a lifestyle that they won't put unnecessary pressure on themselves. Especially many young men, in order to please there babes. Will be living a very fake unsustainable lifestyle. If you live wisely, and your woman can't manage your kind of lifestyle. Better no go kill yourself. Better get sense this New Year. |

Bobodee09: Is so bad that has a married man you can't even buy yourself new wears.
Throughout last year I couldn't get myself a new set of jeans trouser even tho I needed it badly despite having the money. All the money I made last year 90% when into paying bills and household expenses. It so crazy how you has a man you will have over 200k in your acc and you be scared to even buy yourself something of 10k cos of fear of the unknown. In all of this my wife and kids still has many clothes they haven't worn I paid for you.
Last weekend my wife bought herself over 10 new shirt and when I saw it I reminded her how I couldn't even buy myself new jean....she told me nah me no wan buy nah. It really hurt me cos whatever money I make the family expenses come first before my own personal needs but it isn't same for women.
I just feel marriage is design for men to suffer honestly. People just taking from you and no one really care about what you need. Your wife is right Na you no want buy There's what we call budget in a home If you manage your house expenses Well. You will still have something to take care of yourself. Don't go on punishing yourself You have no excuse for that |

Bobodee09: This advise goes especially to married men and men in general.
Don't put yourself under unnecessary pressure or take up loans to maintain a certain lifestyle.
I just lost an area senior bros this morning, the news didn't come as shock cos he has been in the hospital for a while and his BP refused to come down.
He is man in his late 40's married with 4 kids. This man was under alot of pressure to meet end means, he took up too many loans just to maintain his living standards to please his family.
The last time I visited him in general I also checked my BP and it was very high, I was also under pressure myself to meet target. When I got home I promised myself I wont die young to please anyone. I will do my best and leave the rest cos at the end no one really care all they want to do is take from you as a man.
Married men enjoy yourself, take care of yourself, buy what you want. You can't be working everyday and be suffering to please your wife and kids.
The men who die young are the ones who always labour and don't take care of themselves, you see men who only provide what they have and take care of themselves they live longer.
We are in this mess together trust me....those people you think are doing better have alot of loans on their neck. So don't let anyone push you by comparing you to them.
If what you provide isnt enough or appreciated tell your wife to also provide or take her leave. Any Man past 30 years must ensure he checks his BP regularly(I checked my own daily almost every morning) Also do regular health check up and when you are not feeling fine. See your doctor. Not just that. Avoid stress and overworking oneself. Learn how to manage your work /life balance. Time for work/time to relax. Eat healthyly, exercise, sleep well and avoid riotous living. Also enjoy sex with your madam. Na only this Life you get. So use it well You will do yourself good. |

I'm not castigating them, but why do the government seem to focused more on roads more than other crucial sectors? Because road is a critical and very important infrastructure. The major reason why high rise in goods and services is because of poor network of roads abounding in this country. So transportation cost becomes high If you have been privileged to live in working countries where almost all roads are excellently tarred. You will understand the importance of government improving on our roads |

Going to different states with shorelines and then bribing the Governors to grant his access to the land. If united had played what they are playing right now, Dem for collect wotowoto from Liverpool. One more thing, Arsenal cannot win anything this season and even the next. They are just playing fancy football with no icing on the cake You can say whatever. Premier league I have watched this season. Arsenal are the strongest side. Liverpool have there weakness of which Man Utd exposed. Tottenham saw it and beat them in the last game. Man Utd showed that if you match Liverpool tight and you don't allow them bully you, they are very beatable. When the pressure mounts, they will fall like pack of cards. Arsenal are much a harder team. Look at number of chances they have created in this particular game. If they can manage themselves well, they will come out the champions this season. Arteta has done very well. |

Arsenal are the strongest team in the premiership. If they can pull it through the season, they may become champions
Arteta have done an excellent work on this team. For this present match, they are much stronger than Man Utd. Unlike when Liverpool played Man Utd.
If Arsenal push hard, they will win . Although anything can happen. Football can be unpredictable |

GiftofGod77: Yes Boss...because no matter where you are in life try to live under what you can afford. This does not mean living malnourished or in penury or poverty but living moderately and choosing the simple healthy and fun life. This will enable some savings to be made no matter how small. As the savings grow we learn different businesses or ventures well and then we can remove a small fraction of our savings to just try and see. If it works we learn more and increase our investments gradually. Over the upcoming years it will grow then we can make further investments in fixed or more viable assets for our old age and even our seeds whether born now or unborn. . The tragedy is that many people don't know how to manage money Which is the number one reason of poverty If people can manage there money well They can wipe away poverty from there linage Also teaching there children to learn proper management of money as they grow It's not the amount of money that a person earn that's important But what really matters How much was retained, saved, invested that matters |

dheolexaone: Except if you are looking for attention but if not, with 500k as a single guy on a monthly basis. You can say it's nothing when it equates to your high standard of living which from what I read so far it is, but when you maintain a low key life... You will be comfortable.
Let's start with rent... Where are you living and how much do you spend yearly when you can afford less. Utility bills... How well do you manage your utilities,.light in band A etc. use Ur brain. Transport... Going out with car on a daily as a big boy won't help you save. Use your brain. Food... Do you patronise eateries all the time, learn how to start cooking or let someone cook for you and refrigerate all to save for later. Dorime... How well do you do dorime and unnecessary spending ... Calculate it's all from your salary.
No matter how I count them all, if you don't live beyond the 500k, you will still complain when given 1.5m salary cuz your needs will increase as well. j I earn 500k as a wife and my husband earns 200k. I support in rent, pay school fees as they don't attend most expensive schools but have the best training from myself and the dad to back them up academically. Cook without waiting for money from my husband and don't ever complain at any time. We are here to help each other not a liability to one another. I solely subscribe for entertainment at home with unlimited data and I am still able to save up to 250-300k monthly after paying my mum salary and helping some family members for the month. I have a car but only drive when it's important for me and us as a family.
In all, nobody can help you spend your money. Your wants needs to be worked on. Shalom. Wow powerful advice from a Wise woman I salute you. Twale!! |
