logicboy01: Isnt there only one indonesia?i think INdia is also an Asian country |
Natural disaster is looming over two asian countries says Prophet T. B. JOshua. The Prophet said it during todays' (24/6/2012) live 1st service session. He also said the two countrys' initials starts with the letters 'IN' and people of those countries should brace up for the inevitable disaster . He however promised to give details and name the type of disaster during the 2nd service. |

To me its: When improvements in technology like the gsm wchich reminds me of how I'll take a cab to nitel, buy credit unit and queue in the phone booth for my turn to make calls or beg neighbours who were able to afford the old rotary dial desk phone. Sometimes, when i put on my tv in the mornings, I remember those days you have to wait till 4pm, listen to the national anthem first before watching black and white tv. Their programs, were mostly not live except news, or you watch movies on vhs players or play phonograph. Things I will appreciate, cherish, avoid, fear, respect, regard, etc as a child then are treated with disdain by current generation children. Add yours ![]() |

Self-service i believe is pleasurable to those who practice it. everyday we strive towards pleasing God by trying to avoid sinful acts or things that won't please God. if it's now not a sin against God, then this should be good news for masturbators ![]() |
It is in love- not in being loved, the heart is blest; It is in giving- not in seeking gifts, we find our quest. If thou art hungry, lacking heavenly food, - give hope and cheer. If thou art sad and wouldst be comforted, Stay sorrow's tear. Whatever be thy longing and thy need- that do thou give; So shall thy soul be fed, and Thou indeed, shalt truly live. Wishing You The Best Peeps. |
I just saw this post by a friend n felt like sharing. Subsidy probe drama. Enjoy the Drama!!! Hon.Farouk Lawan: what is Nigeria’s daily fuel consumption? Dieziani: 52million Liters NNPC: 35m liters DPR: 43m liters PPPRA: 24M liters Okonjo: 40M liters Hon.Farouk Lawan: What was the subsidy for 2011? Dieziani: 1.4Trillion Okonjo: 1.3Trillion CBN: 1.7Trillion Hon.Farouk Lawan: Can we have the KPMG REPORT? Okonjo: I have to go through the report first Dieziani: I have not seen the report Hon.Farouk Lawan: What is the production capacity of our local refineries?’ NNPC: 30% PPPRA: 20% DPR: 13% Dieziani: 15% Hon.Farouk Lawan: Does Nigeria pay subsidy on locally refined Products? Dieziani: it depends NNPC: The lay man cannot understand how it’s done PPPRA: yes DPR: No Hon.Farouk Lawan: Why is Kerosene still scarce? Dieziani: Because its use by the aviation industry as aviation fuel NNPC: Because there is no subsidy so NNPC overstretched its resources PPPRA: it’s not properly deregulated Hon.Farouk Lawan: what is the balance in the subsidy accounts? Diezieni: it’s a virtual account NNPC: There is no account in existence as the lay man will look at it PPPRA: The account is a technical one CBN: There is no account with us for subsidy Okonjo: The account exists but not with a bank. Hmm, subsidy account is virtual, that says its not a Reality but imagination. So Tam David west is right when He said there is no "Fuel subsidy". ![]() |

My dear people, sometimes when i find myself in some circumstances and places in this country, I'm forced to pause and contemplate how true is this phrase? |
"Nigerian govt urges Libyan President, Muammar Ghaddafi to relinquish power, recognises National Transitional Council as legitimate Libyan govt. Ghaddafi responds and says, 'Nigeria is 50 years behind the rest of the world. A country that has no light, where rats and humans collide in the dark has no right to lecture Libya, cheiiiiiii he get point sha" |
bvc:remember, decrees don't work in a democratic setting, besides, all your proposals have to pass through the national assembly. |
@ Coogar: I'll like to know how long you'll need to achieve this feat, possibly, how you think you can achieve it. i once listened to a tv program that said agriculture is more important(rather pressing) than power, can you prove that wrong? |
Dear Nairalanders, we often castigate past and present governments/presidents, vis-a-vis corruption, weakness, tyrant, etc. I'm not commending them for whatever woes they've brought upon the country but as a nigerian who is honest with his/her self, if you had the opportunity to become the president of Nigeria, what will you to do develop the country to be named amongst the best in the world and how long will it take you to achieve this feats. Contributors should be those with reasonable knowledge of the country, have travelled through most of the geopolitical zones and have an idea of the myriads of problems we are facing now. Thank You. |

Hi Folks, i need your contribution on this. A friend just told me he engaged in a brawl with his girlfriend. According to him, it started with a heated argument. out of annoyance, the guy only threatened to slap the girl, but the girl dared him saying he is not man enough to try it. because of what she said, the guy slapped the girl which resulted in a brawl. who was wrong in this case? |
