A large amount of our crude had already been contracted/sold long ago, long before Dangote refinery was completed. We can't afford to default the contractual aggrements with our foreign clients. Supply of crude would have to be resolved on a negotiation table with lots of concessions involved.

Now that Nigeria has functional refineries, the owners of the refineries are importing crude oil for feed stock.

Citizens have the right to protest in FCT because that is the seat of power.

Opposition parties are cowards in Nigeria and Atiku and Obi would rather push docile kids on the internet instead of being on the frontline.

What we Yoruba just don’t want is any stranger protesting in our land. Carry your prowess to Abuja, Abia or Kano. It’s none of our business.

If I were the FG, I'd wait for the protest to turn violent, because it will ultimately turn violent, just like the EndSars protest did, then, I'd make it our business to prosecute the organisers of the protest and accuse them of the properties destroyed, because in Nigeria today, there are touts and miscreants waiting patiently for any slight opportunity to use it to loot, destroy and cause mayhem.

After the destruction cased the EndSars protest, the organisers are still walking free and still constituting nuisance on social media.
