Family › Marriage With 80000 Salary Per Month? by dmahn(op): 6:51am On Dec 04, 2014
This argument came up in my hostel when we started to discuss about the current job opportunities in the country and their salaries.. We then ventured into the banking sector sector in which a brother said those accountants collect just 80k per month... He said the money is so foolish and so low that he can't marry a wife with that amount of money.. I counter him and based my own argument on the fact that the money is manageable and I ll set up a marriage and start a life with it..Some agreed with my decision while others are like neva will they marry with data on d ground that it's to low to survive... I believed that everyone has its own philosophy of tot... My question is directed majorly to the graduated ones... . Based on the limited job opportunities and low salary for d available ones, Is 80k manageable to start a living or not...Pls comment with reasons.... Thanks

slap1: I believe morality is about what is right or wrong. It is right for a mother to breastfeed her baby in a taxi. I've even seen it in church, although the woman had to go to the back of the pew (but she was still in church). It is not offensive or immoral, it is even despicable to deny the baby food and allow him/her to cry.
...Why did d woman had to go to back of the pew if its normal,it should be done in d midst of people now...Foods other dan breastmilk dey now my guy,and not all tym a babe is crying signifies they are hungry,it may be due to inconveniece and mums back...Remember our bodys are God temple.....Islamically and Christainically speaking its wrong..End tym Tinz sha...Im nt suprised @ all

[quote author=oyinbogirl]i wonder...if d lady had no baby and put her breasts out, you would enjoy looking, wouldnt you? Most guys are hungry to be always seeing. So why and how can you ever be offended by a hungry baby being fed? As a mum shes doing what she has to, taking care of her child. Some ladies wear tops that show more than they hide anyway. SO be clear, do breasts on show offend you or breastfeeding? In answer to the qs YES is a normal thing to feed babies even in public. If you are offended r......Mtchew

Education › At Last, FG, ASUU Sign Agreement To End Strike by dmahn(op): 9:52pm On Dec 11, 2013
After five months and 10 days that the public universities have been shut due to the strike by the Academic Staff of Union of Universities, the Federal Government and the universities lecturers on Wednesday finally resolved to sign the 2013 Agreement.
This is the review of the FGN-ASUU 2012 Memorandum of Understanding reached on the 2009 Agreement.
Both parties, however, refused to give details of the agreement to journalists who witnessed the signing of the agreement.
The meeting was almost aborted by the union but for the prompt intervention of some stakeholders.
ASUU had on Tuesday vowed not to attend the meeting because there was no commitment and proper invitation from the government.
The union had demanded the proof of payment of the N200bn universities infrastructure fund, non-victimisation clause, review of the Agreement in 2014 and that a representative of government, preferably the Attorney-General of the Federation sign the agreement as conditions to call-off the strike which began on July 1.
Our correspondent, however, gathered that the union got three of its demands while it relinquished one to the governmen
