I will take a fib retracement and mark from the high to the low of the recent bullish weekly candle. I will be buying from the golden ratio ratracement and SL slightly below the low, Tp1 at the high and open... If SL hit, I ll join the sellers again agressively

Why is no one challenging me anytime I say I will do the opposite of what I was doing if SL hit.. Isn't that revenge trading ?

Thanks to the entire team for the hardwork and dedication. It's a pleasure to work with octa because I don't loose more than what I intended to loose to unnecessary swap and commission, my deposit and withdrawals are within minutes and I haven't experienced any unusual widening of spread all of a sudden to take traders out of their positions. Withdrawing constantly from this little account has proved to me that no broker is hunting traders stop but stop loss hit is very normal...

From the technical perspective sir, I have checked gold since last month on a 3 month chart and found a very strong continuation pattern. From the little experience I've had, an inverted head and shoulder with weak right shoulder when formed on an uptrend is a very bullish pattern, the moment the neckline which happens to be the reversal trendline was broken, price came to retest the broken neckline and the move started... Gold has done the minimal target for this pattern and heading for the maximum target 2555.00

This is what I've been battling recently. I'm just too indiscipline to call mysef a good trader, Last 4 trades was a beautiful run but instead of hitting TP, they all came back to BE after doing more than 70pips. Audjpy has given $120 initially arround 1pm only for me to check 3 hours later and find out it's running towards my BE.. I don't want this to be like the last 4 trades so I closed with this little profit. I checked now and find out that market reversed back into my direction and on its way to my initial TP, now it's too late to enter . I wished I never checked the chart when I did..... We go Again

I also noticed from your Exlorer, that you always aim 1% per day/trade most times especially at the begining. Do you do this for scalping also knowingly that your SL might be very tight. Just curious.

Just as realone12 stated, I majorly swing and scalp, but some swings and scalp can suddenly turn to day trade based on a solid understanding that to each timeframe his own time of profits. When I start a new account, the first thing I want to do is swing, cos like you rightly said, I can use very little lot size based on proper risk money management. This can keep me waiting for days and weeks. However and practically, the first D1 candle formation can completely go against you which can be brutal, at that point, though I'm on swing, then I switch to scalp right there....therefore, I have two trading styles ongoing at that moment - the major style is the swing, the minors are the scalpings I will be doing simultaneously with the swing.

The scalpings are exited in minutes, but I leave the swing (major) to run until exit is sure. But this is actually my worst case scenario in this business; unfortunately, they happen many more times. But you see, when I become fortunate with my swing trade, then I go hard on it for days.

I think I will stop here for now 😘

1. The 33% rule: Here my maximum profit made in this cycle was $1,300.46. Therefore, the minimum profits I must make to be eligible for all my profits payout is 1,300.46*100/33 ==== $3,940.78 (PASSED! since I already made more, $5,022).

2. The lot size or volume rule (200% and 75% rule):
Total lot = 52
Total trade number = 23
Average Lot size = 52/23 = 2.26
None of my trade lots must be up to 4.52, which is 200% of 2.26. My maximum lot used is 3.0 (PASSED!)
Also,
None must be 0.565, which is 75% reduced average lot size. My minimum lot used is 2.0 (PASSED!)

3. The 30-second window Rule: None of the trades were entered within 30 seconds of the other.

4. 5-day minimum trading days rule: I will enter random trades in the next two days just to meet up with the minimum days.

One question boss, you are a swing trader and what I know about swing trading is the waiting period which use to take days or weeks b4 getting to target profit, maybe what I know isn't correct sir? If yes, I will like to fund it with US$50, trade it very diligently just like dmahn is doing. Biweekly profits will go a long way. I prefer this option cos you can trade it as your money and not a prop challenge that could add pressure.
