Brother you might do all this and more but i tell you there is no greater thing that sucks if not writing an article with bad English or may i say grammatical blunders.... Not that you don't know what you are doing, but that you still need to horn your grammar a little.... Concords....correct use of prepositions and verb is the area you need to focus on... Kudos.... you just made a fool of yourself by not knowing fully well what you are talking about. Sorry to say this.... You know facebook well but you don't know nairaland well yet you went ahead to compare and contrast between the two... How can you achieve that?... See, if it is in a debate you will easily fail to someone who did his research very well.... You don't know how much NL charge for there adverts yet you went ahead in saying facebook own is cheaper...what if it isn't?... You said NL can only target nigerian in there add but you are damn wrong because they as well target worldwide. Many non-nigerians do come to NL to learn and interact. Now, am not saying that your points are not good but they ain't strong enough for a debate... When next you want a debate do your research well and come off in flying colours. you said you need to go about it yourself and build it from scratch right?... Well you need to learn html and css if you have not, then learn php and mysql. Including javscript if you like. Nairaland is built with php and for you to code a site like that you need to know php or java.... Wish you all the luck. But why not try and bring up something tangible, something unique of its own, something unheard of, try to be creative and go out and do it cos you can. Facebook wasn't there before mark zurkerberg created it... Nairaland also wasn't here when suen created it and today they are known for it. what you said is true.... Also facebook has its own advantage...that of socializing. It is at the forefront when u use it as a socializing tool. While in the other hand, nairaland is like a community where you can join groups of same interests and learn as well as share ideas...much like USNET of old.

Stupid bloggers including Linda.plenty of fake news.. I think I prefer a forum like nairaland....where threads are moved to FP at the discression of stewped modes. At least the owner of the the forum is not directly involved. Topics are created by both sane and insane people.....and not really the boss himself/herself.

The same way a car wash opens down the street and starts making it...then everyone suddenly wants to own a car wash on the street. Nigerians and one way traffic. Blogging is bullshit...same news everywhere...just from diff sources. Peace out!

In the other hand, it is true you can make money from blogging but it requires pateince... Blogging is a gradual process but when the money starts coming it never stops.

To be in a better chance of making money from your blog you need to learn all you can. You need to be an example. You need to share everything you know to the point that you start becoming uncomfortable with the free infos which you share. Only then will you gather loyal and consistent followers which will now be willing to pact with their money to you when you starts selling something.

One secret of blogging is selling. The money is from selling not from writting. You only write to nucture and get enough loyal followers...we call it content marketing...

If you can't create a product to sell you are as good as gone. You have to sell in other to make money, but who will buy when they don't trust you. When they think you are not that good in your chosen feild? You need to learn good copywritting and know content marketing. You need to do keyword research and stop tricks and shortcuts. Stop gaming google cos they will find you and burn you and strip you!. You need time, time, time, i say enough time!... Focus, dream big... Do it like it has never been done... You are unique and so can bring out a concept yet unheard of if only you will sit and think deep.

i also noticed that in my newly opened wordpress site...... Too much login attempts by different IP's and usernames.....they where trying to login in to my admin but could not.....for several days they where doing this.

Do you know what i did, i laughed and deleted the wordpress since nothing much is there...... I changed host servers reinstalled wordpress and reinforce it with strong sercurity plugins.....

Since then i am good to go....
