Bros, it takes genius to put up a group of average players and fight your way to the top. For all I know, Simeone resort to such tactics when he knows he is going against a team with better players than his. And if it were that easy, how come other coaches arw not doing same and going up with it?

Atletico has broken the duopoly of Barça-Madrid in Spain despite the calibre of players at his disposal. In 2014, he took them to the final of the UCL beating Barça along the line, and if luck were to be on their side on the day of the final, they would have won. That's a forgone issue anywayz, but fast forward 2 years later, they are almost back in the final once again. I mean, did you say parking the bus and going on the break is easy? In La Liga this season, they have conceded just 17 goals. In the same league where Madrid have conceded 30+ and Barça have conceded almost 30 goals. The guy deserves every credit abeg. Honestly, IMO, Simeone has been the best coach in the last 3 years.

That's a lie! He doesn't park the bus against average teams. He attacks, but like raumdeuter rightly stated, he doesn't do that the way Barça, Bayern, Madrid or even PSG does, but in a sorta controlled manner. He does it without losing the shape of the team.

Atletico will never pose themselves as the better team in terms of play, but will show that in terms of result.

The last time I checked, result is all that matters afterall.

It takes genius to have those set of players and still compete at the highest level. I've an Assnal friend offline, who's been supporting Gayners since 1999. He used to defend Wenger more than any Gayner I've known. But since last 2 years he'd not only stop supporting Wenger, he's taken his mind off watching Assnal matches. He doesn't care again, he doesn't bother himself to watch Assnal matches, and he said he won't stress himself over Gayners matches till Wenger is out.

I'll tell you the truth, you are not a diehard fan more than him even when you've watched more Gayners matches than him since the last 2 years. People handle hurt differently. That ninja stopped watching Assnal matches or having hope coz he knows with Wenger in charge Gayners are going no where. And the results are proving him right. I did it too under Moyes era just to make sure I don't suffer heartbreak of watching my team lose endlessly. Stop thinking that you are more supportive of Gayners than Sod9 coz you chose to dream an impossible dream while Sod chose to face reality. I'm no prophet, but I can boldly tell you that with Wenger as coach, Arsenal won't win the league next season unless he decides to spend big on the current squad.
