HurricaneMIMZY: Wenger probably has a tenable excuse with the building of a new stadium. He had to sell key players and the league's most promising starlets to fund the project as against building on the success of THE INVINCIBLES. The same cash crunch Liverpool experienced in 2009 from which the team is trying to recover from.
Then again, Dortmund under Klopp weren't exactly the richest in the BL but, against Bayern's financial power and poaching, they made successes of their own.
Maybe Wenger should become a football director while a new manager who isn't afraid to be daring should take the reins. See the revolution happening at Liverpool, for example.
VoteMimzyAsMissNairaland2016
Exactly! He would be good as a director of football. |

Chelseafan1: Lol... It wasn't even about yesterday alone, you haven't said anything about his dip in form and recent performance, or maybe I haven't checked well And who has said anything prior? I have not seen the last 2 games except watching highlights. Although my younger bro told me Neymar didn't do well, especially with the somewhat unnecessary dribbles even when the team is seeking a goal. But sometimes we fail to take cognizance of his other impacts. He won us 2 PKs in our last match. Is that not part of the impact a player brings? I am not justifying his recent form. By his standard, he has not been particularly great this year. But admittedly too, things have been blown outta proportion. As much as it's ok to criticise when its due, it should be done with care. Even Messi has suffered from this too and frankly its sometimes not fair. It's not a mistake that Neymar is the most provoking player in La Liga. Not just for the amount of foul he draws, but because of the number of PKs he has won for the team. He now has the record for the highest number of PKs won by a player in La Liga in a single season. That too is something, but when people start criticising, they make it seem like you are already dead. Remember, I ain't saying he shouldn't be criticised. He should because he has not been himself in 2016. But then, people should take a chill pill. I'm as worried as some others. The people who never liked him are using this as an opportunity and as a means to pour out every ill-thing they have against him. |

HurricaneMIMZY: His qualities as a striker was never in doubt. But Barça took a risk on him 'cause of history of not putting his anger in check especially if one puts in the perspective of the Classico.
It paid off and Barça has been the better for it. Then again, what is life without taking risks?
Check my signature, sir. You are right. It's all about risk. Same thing I say whenever prof Spy360 say there is no capable hand to replace Arsene. It's always a gamble; sometimes it pays off and other times it doesn't. Since Arsene became the coach of Arsene, almost every big club out there have won the Champions League at least once. For some, it's maybe 2 or 3 and for others like Barça, it's 4. Did Barça do it by banking on just one person? Nope! As successful as Pep was at Barça, we moved on without him. And last season we won the treble with Enrique. Football is all about risk. Both the players and coaches are risky business in football, although some less risky than others. |

sebod: Winger Cristian Tello (24), on loan at Fiorentina now, is expected to continue on loan at the Italian club next season.
We even hardly remember we still have some players on loan these days.
Tello is still on loan at 24, I think the club should just sell him so that he won't spend all his active years on loan. I don't know why our young forwards have not really lived up to expectation. Only Halilovic and Suarez are doing well presently. Funny enough, those 2 were not groomed at La Masia. Hmmm |
