seawoman:Your head is very correct. This is what I always try to let people know. How would I be more attached to my mom when my wife would happen to be the flesh of my flesh, the bone of my bones and my too-say-woot-say? How possible is it that I am more attached to my mom when even the Bible says 'two come together to become one'? Sometimes people forget the essence of marriage that they prioritize their mom over their wife. Given, there is nothing like a mother (a good one for that matter). The thing every man owes their mother is to take care of her. Of course no one wants to let her suffer till death especially when the man can be of help. And the last I checked, this doesn't mean the mother owns him. That is doing what should be done. For me it's not even a debate. In marriage it is said that 1 + 1 = 1. This translates to my wife and I being one body. If this is true as it were, then where is the argument about mother having a higher hierarchy coming from? Or is there any man out there still taking decisions based on what their mom wants? Such No one should tell her me how their mother suffered blah blah blah. No one is saying you shouldn't help your mother. No one is saying you can't spoil her with whatever you wish, as long as you have the resources. My mom knows me very well. As my mother, I would gladly take her anywhere to make her feel alright when the time is right. I will give her everything she desires when the time is right because she has earned it. Yet, I am a man of myself. I always ring this to her hearing that, the only thing I owe her is to make sure that she is comfortable with life. Any other thing is out of reach. My wife takes your place as the woman of my life. For me I think it's simple. Everyone knows where they belong. |
Hmmm. I love this kinda questions. |
conquerorsegun:Adultery you mean? |
Anijay1212:Gbam! Better regret my brother. You know the trick here? Whether her ulterior motive was pre-conceived or not, the fact remains that if the OP continues with such reception, an ulterior motive is meant to creep in along the line because his actions borders on... ![]() ![]() ![]() Well, it seems the OP still thinks they are kids (like way back) and hence the too much attachment with her. Else, I wouldn't see the reason why she is finding it easy to plant herself in his life and family. It's obvious she is living in regrets at this point in time. But should that be your business? Not at all my friend. Be wise! |
Bro this is simple... Address this or it addresses you. She started with coming to your office, right? And now she visits your home, right? And your wife is being tagged along at this juncture, right? The only reason your wife is still tagging along is because she is yet to see the threat before her. But alas, if you fail to act right and act now, it's going to hunt you in the long run. I can obviously see the potential turn-out of this whole ish. If you know what is good for you, stop your wife from having further of such convos with her. As for you, tell her point-blank that she shouldn't bring issues like this to your knowledge henceforth. The problem with us humans is that we sometimes try to pamper things too much by acting all soft and whatnot. I don't get it why you (a man) should be soft and emotional when it comes to an issue like this that is a potential threat or hazard to your marriage and/or family. Or, don't tell me you ain't wary of what I am saying. If you have not seen it yet then it means you are on a long thing. Continue to welcome her at your own peril. I can see this won't end well if you continue like this. Good morning. |
Did you ask her of the reasons for being afraid to log on the Internet? |
