Last question, during installation, the option keep files app and all settings is meant to keep all files intact but I heard even with the option it's still a clean install. Pls anybody done this, thus it clean install even after choosing keep all files and apps.

wat i downloaded was the media creation tool. when u thats wen it will start downloading the os...and i dont know where it was saved. just buy glo 1k for 3gb on ur bb and do it

I have a question? Can I download using proxy like simple server settings, my reasons are that Windows don't update with proxy. Don't know about win 10,pls anybody with experience of how they downloaded with regards to data. Thanks

my windows is windows 7 and 32bit............................ wen i tried updating, it said it cant , bcoz mine was 32bit and not 64bit........ Please is there anyone here that have an idea of what i am to do , to have d windows 10 working

Windows 10 is just a wow experience to me. I upgraded about three days back now... and I can't describe the simplicity of the process and now I have a new PC and a new PA. Lol but that Cortana who happened to be my PA too know shall Lol, Lol and Lol... In fact after the upgrade I personally prayed to God to upgrade my life. I'm too spiritual anyway but the experience was just too inspiring.

By the way I didn't experience any error but I was only prompted to uninstall my finger print application.

You can control it. Just go to settings and set your current connections as Metered Connection, then Windows will not do any background download and notifications update on that connection.

i'M USING wINDOWS 10...MY ONLY QUALMS NOW IS THAT IT USED UP MY DATA WITHOUT A FORMAL NOTIFICATION THAT WINDOWS 10 DOWNLOADING WAS ACTUALLY TAKING PLACE. sO I THOUGHT MY WIRELESS BOX HAD BEEN HACKED AND I INCURRED EXPENSIVE DATA BILLS.

Upgraded yesterday from windows 8.1. The difference is so clear, everything went smoothly without issues. Took about 6 hours to complete. I didnt wait for Microsoft to push it to my laptop. Just make sure ur laptop is up to date, then go to Microsoft website to download the software.

What I discovered though, after downloading the windows 10 installer which is about 200mb, I tried installing and it keeps telling me something went wrong. Then I fired up my IP, once my IP is changed to USA, the download started and it took like 6 hours to complete. I must say the interface looks a lot polished, oh and I love the new browser. Will upload pictures later.
