marqueetim: Lmao my barca identity in doubt because I said my candid opinion about Neymar and his diving instinct. He is our heir to Messi. But he has lot of things to improve on, (stop showboating and diving). Its not really nice, and is one of the reasons not the major or important one why Messi enjoys the love of fellow players than CR7 when it comes to voting.I rest my case. Ohh, it's now about diving and no longer about showboating? Wow! I case my rest. I really should be more mindful about the people I quote nowadays. Smh. |

sebod: I am not sure you watched some of our matches against the likes of Athletico Madrid, Bilbao where Neymar was kicked form start to finish without the refs doing anything. If you did, maybe you would have gotten an answer. I guess he's still human with blood running through his veins. Hence the gestures. Heck! Even Messi lost his cool against... I have forgotten the team, where he insulted the said player according to the player. It's normal. Messi got really vexed against Paraguay in the first match after being fouled by a player. Camera showed him bursting verbally. Besides, no more arguments with these guys about the Neymar ish. There is absolutely no point. |

Krasid: What did Di maria do after that? Did it result in a goal or not? Was it unneccessary showboating? Ahh c'mon, stop displaying such ***. Did he know whether it would result to a goal or not? Are you a learner? So, after doing it and it resulted to a goal, it made it worthwhile right? And if it hadn't, a different kettle of fish? That's pathetic and a cheap way to not get caught. Wake me up when Neymar showboats at his own half. Anything done at the opponent's half is always with a view to scoring. And also, wake me up when he showboats and passes the ball back to his own half. You see? He does the trick and uses it to make headway. Your argument? Flawed and baseless. Little have I forgotten I promised myself not to always quote you. Your mind is beclouded, and nothing can change it. |

marqueetim: Fellow barca fans, Neymar don't just do that he makes gestures too. You can read about the atletico match in the CDR, that was why Juanfran mocked him with the 7-1. In essense he is expected to get to the top first before doing that. Many captains and coaches will not vote him for ballon d'or if he continues drawing the hatred of the opposition. Bro... Do you watch our games even? He makes gestures? Yes! That's when they have tried to frustrate life out of him, especially with refs doing nothing to protect him. Besides, Juanfran did the gesture thingy because of the showboating, and not because Neymar did a gesture at him. Please! And that was very childish of Juanfran. Of course no one pointed it out since it wasn't Neymar that did the gesture. #Pathetic. Why is no one highlighting how he was targeted by players this past season? Check on the stats, he attracted the most fouls in La Liga, and not just everyday fouls, most were borne outta wickedness and anger. Is that what the beautiful game has transmogrified to? Dang! Frankly, this Neymar criticism is redundant! They are blowing this way outta proportion. And he doesn't deserve it! When Dinho was still not perfect with the "zigima" skill, he first tried it in a match against AC Milan, the one we won 2-1 that he scored that trademark goal. He tried it first with Cafu, but he didn't pull it off properly. Did he give up? Nope! Of course I need not finish it since you obviously watched the match. He did it again, and then, it resulted to a goal. In the Confederation's Cup, Neymar pulled off a trick against Mexico, and it eventually resulted in a goal scored by Jo (with the assist from Ney). If he had not succeeded with the trick at the edge of the box, I guess a lot would have been said. But he succeeded and it resulted to a goal. So irrespective of where you decide to pull off a trick, it's still with a view to beating your marker and making headway. Which eventually might result to a goal. Make we leave matter for mathias jare. |

Showboating is all ways in the blood of brazillians like it or not Abeg go check Puyol history as a player. No player, I mean no player disgrace am like De Lima. De Lima useless Puyol life. Why you dey yarn like this na? Na today you start to dey watch ball? Haba! Has he done half the showboating displayed by J.J Okocha? How about Ronnie? How about Zlatan? The list goes on... Else, there would be a law against it. Case closed. Pardon my curiosity; was Ronnie ever criticised for showboating? Of course he was/is the kind of showboating. |

Krasid: You need to ask yourself why he is always singled out for criticism by opposition teams.Even Enrique criticised him after the CDR final. His unnecessary showboating is sometimes disrespectful. Bro... I respect people so much, and I really do respect your opinion. But c'mon, this is sounding stupid (not saying you are). Why is it that all of a sudden, it becomes a crime to show a skill or two during a game? For the records, if someone should be cautioned for disrespecting its opponents, then I think it's Messi. Because he keeps nut-megging people's fathers every now and then, and you and I know it's a disgrace. But have you heard anyone complain? Of course no! That's because it's Messi. Frankly, tell yourself the truth, if Neymar were the one doing the Messi-esque nutmeg, then he would have been heavily criticised for showboating. I respect your opinion, but for once let's leave sentiments aside and be truthful and mature with our views. It's no coincidence that fans tend to like skillful players more than the rest. Think about it. |

Iniesta won man of the match at the ucl final did he score a goal?
It was because he was the most hardworking player that night he made some good passes and some runs
Creating chances for players that's how messi won it
We all know the only way ronaldo can claim any award is by scoring goals
Because I know you know ronaldo knows everyone knows That w/o scoring a goal on a match ronaldo is as useless as the letter k in "know"
Infact w/o scoring ronaldo is nutin but an empty space

homesteady: I've decided to stop arguing with some of them like hensben! Most of them are just daft!
One was arguing that ronaldo has also scored in all quarter final-final games like how Neymar did!
Another said Neymar did not score in the 1st leg against bayern
Then the biggest foool of them said - Pedro has always been a substitute for barcelona! Even after telling him that the Villa-Messi-Pedro trio are the 3rd highest scoring trio in barcelona history, he kept on arguing that he has always been a substitute!
Ehen, another person said that there are rules for choosing captains! I asked him if it was FIFA or CAF that set the rules, he started insulting me!
Sighs! My brother, the level of lunacy of those guys is so depressing! Argue with them at your own peril!

bykebyke: After Neymar put an incredible stand out performance in Brazil's opening game of the Copa America against Peru there has been a lot of talk about the Barcelona forward taking over from his club team mate Lionel Messi and Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo as the next Ballon d'Or winner. Now the Brazilian has had his say.
After his blistering form helped Barcelona win the treble, including scoring the final goal in the Champions League final, Neymar has continued in the same vain with Brazil, scoring their first and assisting the second in a 2-1 win against Peru.
But answering questions about winning next year's Ballon d'Or the humble Brazilian wasn't so sure;
"This year the Ballon d'Or already has it's owner, for everything he did this year, Messi deserves it. Let's see if I can get in the top three"
It's difficult to disagree that Neymar's fellow Barcelona forward deserves to regain the title he's recently lost to Cristiano Ronaldo.
However we do think that the former Santos striker will get his hands on the award at some point. After Messi and Ronaldo, it's Neymar. Then we have the rest of the world. Neymar is just umder the above pair, and has his own class. Then after Neymar's class, we have Harzard and co. Putting Ronaldo side by side with Messi doesn't mean the Argentine is not head and shoulders above him. I put them side by side for rivalry sake. |
