Romance › Re: Share Ur Funny/crazy Or Most Embarassing Toastin Experience Here by dmcdad: 12:05am On Jan 08, 2015 |
I had an experience on this topic, but I was actually the bad guy here. Hehehehehehe. There was this girl sometime ago (some 12-13 years ago), we were in the same Catechism class (Catholics would understand). She embarrassed the heck outta my life with this "I love you, talk your own". Ewww, very local. Okay. She was pretty okay, albeit not tall, but the opposite (lol). The problem with what she was doing then was that, it was bringing about much embarrassment to me, as she was expressing herself in crowded places, and not while I was alone. And the catchy thing there was, there was a girl I was actually eyeing (you know...). She was very pretty. I mean, she was extremely beautiful. And even though I never had any plan of wooing her, still, it was paramount to clear up the air. Besides, the same pretty girl I cleared up the air for was the one that approached me even. Lucky right? Then came the D-day. We were in our usual Catechism class and she started saying those trash and meanwhile I was already bent on making her stop in the best possible way. Next thing was for me to give her the embarrassment of her life. I turned backward towards her and shouted at her to the earing of much of the people present, using many foul words and even insulting her family and all that. That was it! I regreted my action because it was highly embarrassing. Infact, to say it was an embarrassment would be an understatement. It was so much so that she couldn't even mingle with anyone till we passed out of that class, because the embarrassment was like a shadow that went with her wherever she went and whatever she does. From that day till she left my vicinity, it was pure hatred. She hated me with passion. At a point I had to solicit for her forgiveness, but it didn't do much to help her culb her hatred towards me. So that was it. |

Johnpaul88: But Neymar came to training the next morning while Messi stayed away feigning some non existent sickness But how then are you sure the sickness was non-existent? Lucho's policy with injured players has always been that, even in off-days, you would be mandated to train alone at the Cuitat. And Messi did just that yesterday being Tuesday. He went to the Esportiva and trained there alone. Does that not prove to an extent that he wasn't really alright the previous day as he claimed? My point? Don't run into some unnecessary conclusions here. You don't know for sure if it really hampered him or not. So I'd rather you don't take a shot in the dark. |

homesteady: I wonder why we are still arguing about this matter! The final verdict has been passed! Messi and Neymar on the bench doesn't make sense
You want to play a park the bus team, and he chose this lineup 1) He knows our midfield is dead! It was even a defender - Mash that was even giving some defence splitting passes! 2)He left out Barca most creative Player - Messi! Doesn't Lucho check the stats of his players?(Maybe we should employ coogar to teach him how to check stats) doesn't he know that Messi has created the most chances in the team, and no one comes close? 3) We had only one player who could dribble his way to pass defenders - Iniesta! He can't do it alone now! And we had 2 great dribble masters on the bench! 4) When I saw the lineup, I thought he would want to use fast counters to play, but why put Xavi, who breathes on tiki taka? Why not put Rakitic who will also have the experience of counter attacks from his sevilla days? There was clearly no plan! Abeg you know football jare... |

honeric01: Oga, who should the board hire next? Mourinho? The thing is; I ain't even fighting for his resignation or he being sacked. My problem with him is that,he is too full of himself. Anyone yet to realise this about Lucho is not a Barca fan. He needs to keep his head down and to do things right. He should curtail the high-handedness. Everyone make mistakes. The thing is, don't make the same mistake twice. But in his case? More than twice even. Yet, he wouldn't even admit he made a mistake. Like he is a god or soemthing that doesn't make mistakes. Even Pep, in his days with us, we had some not-so-smooth games which he admitted that he made the mistake. Sir Alex, Capello, Wenger, Hiddink, Carlo and even Mourinho admitted making mistakes with their line-ups and/or tactics at different times in the past. What then is with the high-handedness? |

honeric01: Common sense, their value or sign on fee before joining says alot. not really their quality, hence the reason i used the analogy of Ivanovic. hopefully you got the sense in this. A lot are in play both on and off the pitch when you study the emboldened. Hopefully too, you see reasons why all players are not equal. And hence, shouldn't expect certain players to perform to certain other players' performance. |

honeric01: Well the board believe in him, hence the reason they signed him, have you guys noticed that as we keep sacking coaches, the replacement are getting "worse" by the standard of nairaland fans? Tata is this, tata is that, he was changed, now Lucho is this, Lucho is that.. una get issues. I see... I guess you have more issues for you to be unable to see what is going on. When is stating the obvious a crime? And for the records, I didn't complain about Tata. Tata failed ultimately because of the board, the media, the players and the fans. Afterall his system worked until he was heavily criticised by the media and the players (Xavi for instance) alike. Not to mention the board. Things changed after that because he had to revert back to the "norm". Tata made clear of his ideas. Lucho? Even he himself is confused with his tactics and all. |

logica: Yes, the moronic board got another unworthy coach. And guess what; this one isn't just unworthy; he's moronic.
Forget about sold players. Winning gives a club confidence. That's what they have going for them. It doesn't matter if there is a change of personal. It's a psychological thing. And no, Pedro and Munir are no Messi and Neymar. Once Sociedad scored, you knew we would be playing against a 10 man wall. Pedro that cannot even dribble past a mannequin? Did you see the difference when Neymar and Messi came on? Neymar's movement and runs started creating stress in the Sociedad defense line. All of a sudden Barca started looking menacing in Sociedad's box. Guy you really watch the same match I watch. I dey wonder which match JP watch wey make am say when Neymar and Messi enter them no do much. Especially when Neymar enter, the game turn around one-time! |

Johnpaul88: You can blame Enrique that he's so far been unable to build a strong, competitive team despite his various rotations and I will agree with you but what he did in benching these stars are not overly wrong. I know that Guardiola would've done exactly the same thing, the difference only being that Guardiola built a more competitive team.
Was he party to deciding that the stars holidays should be extended? What I heard was all south America players who wished to spend spend their holidays in their home land, all had their holidays extended. Mascherano, Bravo and Suarez all spent their holidays in Spain or at least in Europe because they didn't travel home. You got the wrong info bro... All players (Europeans and South-Americans alike) were to resume on the 29th of December except for Messi, Neymar, Alves and Mascherano. The aforementioned players were permitted to resume on the 2nd of January. Mascherano didn't travel out of Barcelona, so that was why he resumed on the same day with the others. And for your information, it was Lucho who gave the permission, and no other.Do you know Neymar played some charity games while he was away? It was Lucho who also gave him the permission. |

logica: LOL @ certain Guardiola would've benched his best players. Guardiola is no fool. When did you ever see Guardiola bench his best players while playing strong opposition? I immediately knew his silly reason was going to be that they returned late from holidays; but the question is, did they return on the day they were scheduled to return or they returned later than expected? Now, if they did return on the scheduled date (which apparently Enrique was aware and party to), why did he agree to have 2 of his best players return that late knowing they face a big test in 2 days? What does this say of Enrique's managerial skills? God go cool down, bless you! That's what i have been saying. |

Bro, Lucho is not our problem, the board is! Was it the board that bemched Messi and Neymar? Was it the board that fielded 25 different personnels in 25 matches of the season thus far? The baord have their faults too. But Lucho? He is a coward and a stubborn goat! |

Johnpaul88: But Neymar and Messi only returned to the club less than 48 hours before the match. I wasn't surprised they didn't start the match. Guardiola would've benched them too. I'm certain of that.
But we're all making ourselves believe it's the sole reason why we failed to beat an average Real Sociedad team that have sold all their best players. Was it not the coach who asked them to resume 48 hours to keep off? Knowing fully well he had to play a tough tie at the Anoeta. |
