For the fact that we are 5 goals up already, plus playing against a lowly rated side, makes the match more or less meaningless for Messi to feature in. We are gradually getting to the toughest part of the season, and you don't wanna overwhelm your star players with just any match and leave them fatigued when it matters most. |

Baddestguyp:Haba! Maka why na? There is nothing like underestimating anyone here. This is an opportunity to give the youngsters playing time. If you decide to use Messi and co against Elche, in a second leg fixture after winning the first leg by 5 goals, then I wonder when you would give the youngsters their chance to prove themselves and/or get the opportunity to feature for the first team once again. |

I'd rather the three forwards are smoking and sharing the goals, rather than having only one of em do all of that. The downside? Hold that player and the team is done. Messidependential? Of course the team would still rely on Messi for the coming seasons, yet, that doesn't mean the others should be invisible. Imagine the way they attacked against Athletico, as a pack. The three of them were connected in the 3 goals we scored. The first came from Messi to Suarez and then to Neymar. The second came from Messi to Suarez, but that was possible because Neymar had to create a decoy to confuse the defenders. The third was a pass from Iniesta to Neymar, who laid it for Rakitic, who found Suarez with a long ball, before Suarez threw it on the opposite side of the pitch to Messi and the rest is history. Wouldn't you prefer it continues this way rather than Messi hugging all the glory? Besides, Messi had the lion share of the praise given to the team and especially to the 3 forwards. So, he would always be the driving force. But we need others to be as useful too. |

Baddestguyp:We lack football mods on NL, hence the isolation of Spanish games on FP. They are only EPL fans and not fans of football in general. The big four (at least) of Spain, Germany, Italy and France deserves to be in the FP at every matchdays. |
