This is the best 11 in recent years I have seen so far... cheesy
cheesy But I would habe loved Rakitić to start alongside Xavi, to give am extra advantage in marking. But then, we have the illusionist (Iniesta) to do magic as always.

Great Lineup. @ddippset your mind don rest abi?

Calm down bro... It's normal. Both sides are afraid. It would be arrogant for either fans to say they don't fear the other, at least to an extent. Not fear like you can't win or you don't believe in your team, but c'mon, this is the biggest football match the world could ask for, and just the hype alone is enough to make you have goosebumps.

The discussions, the players, the hype and everything just makes it all the more tensed.

It's official, Suárez is now a free man. His ban ends by 12am (or 11:59pm) CET. So as it stands, he is now free.

Reports in Spain claim Luis Suarez will start the Clasico against Real Madrid as a substitute, with the Barcelona team dependent on injuries. AS claim Luis Enrique will use Suarez from the bench, ready to come on should his services be needed.

The Clasico at Santiago Bernabeu is the first Barca game for which Suarez has been available after serving a four-month ban for biting Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup.

Suarez has only been able to train and play friendlies for club and country since the June incident. The former Liverpool forward’s role against Madrid has been the subject of speculation, with AS saying Suarez will be used late in the game, if necessary.

How Barca line up depends on the fitness of Sergio Busquets, AS add, after a hip problem dogged the midfielder. If Busquets is fit then he will form the three man midfield with Ivan Rakitic and Andres Iniesta, with Javier Mascherano taking his place if he isn’tready.

Busquets’ availability would have an impact in defence as Mascherano would partner Gerard Pique at centre-back if Busquets plays and Jeremy Mathieu would replace Jordi Alba at left-back, to give Barca’s back line some height.

Dani Alves will play at right-back with Claudio Bravo in goal, according to how Barca set out in training.
Could it be that he is trying to play mind gameshuh

lol, dont be surprised to see suarez on the bench and munir up front with messi and neymar. and dont be surprised to see messi get subbed on 68 minutes. e be like say juvenile deliquency de worry that coach.
cheesy Make him no even try am with those small boys oooooo. I am already fed up with his obsession with Munir and co. Then start Munir in El-Clasico? That would mean something is obviously wrong with him (Lucho). He might as well start Sergi Roberto while Rakitić and/or Iniesta sits on the bench.

ddippset:
yeah i know. but seriously i dont know what it is with introducing a star player from the bench on his debut. it makes no sense. they claim they dont want to rush them in but for goodness sake the guy has waited for at least 12 games to make this debut, and you are going to waste 70 minutes of his impact just based on some stup1d ideology which makes little or no sense? if we were playing almeria or rayo, ok. play him from 85 minutes if you like, but real madrid? makes no sense not starting him.
I am subscribing for Lucho bringing him at the hour mark. But, that would be if he would deploy Iniesta alongside Neymar and Messi in the attack, while Xavi and Rakitić complement Busi in the middle of the park.

But if it were not so, that is if he decides not to play Iniesta at LW, thereby utilising one of Sandro, Pedro and/or Munir, then I would glady go with Suárez.

how about a 3-4-3? that wouldnt do no harm! put masch on the left to shackle ronaldo : masherano,pique,mathieus,- busquets, rakitic, xavi, iniesta - suarez, messi, neymar. is this a crazy formation? and o please enrique shouldnt give me that crap about starting suarez from the bench! throw him in right from the kick off!
Let's not deceive ourselves, Lucho ain't starting him.

That would depend greatly on Lucho's instructions.

Yes you are right. But, since I don't trust Pique's ability to handle CR7, I would simply swap the role for Matheus.
And you think it won't backfire? Playing Mathieu from his weaker foot just to contain Ronaldo? I would say that would mean shooting ourselves on the foot.

it is not our fault that we are dreaming about the match gringrin

read this -

key factor that fans of both teams may not
admit is the element of fear that comes with a
Clásico game. Fear of the realization that your
team is not as good as the other team. Fear of
that first goal. Fear that your team will not
step up. Fear of the ridicule you will receive by
the fans of the other team. Fear that your team
could let you down and the fear that your team
will lose.

For us fans, the thought of a loss is tough to
swallow, let alone accept.
“The threat is stronger than the execution” is a
term that has been used in chess. Some
interpret this as the idea that the threat of
getting beat with strategic moves is at times a
greater tactic and much more of an impact than
the actual move itself. This is because the
threat changes your opponent’s tactics and
psyche.

This saying holds true in El Clásico. From the
coaches’ decisions to how the players play, the
threat of a goal and the threat of getting beat
is at times stronger than the play or goal itself.
If you’re a Culé, you worry about the Madrid
counterattack. If you’re a Madridista, you
worry about Barça’s tiki-taka ball possession
play.

The idea of seeing your team lose is at times a
greater source of stress to fans’ psyche than
the actual loss itself.
This is what makes Clásicos so great: it’s a
high-stakes chess match that has everyone—
including fans—tense, unlike any other game in
the year.
So true...cheesy
