Why are the stats varying when it comes to Messi's assist? I know it should be 7, although some stats are stating that it's 6. Some other stats are stating 7 assists as the correct figure.

Romance › Re: Ladies: Which Is 'sexier' Guys With Deep Voices Or Those With Tiny Voices? by dmcdad: 2:37pm On Sep 28, 2014
I think it varies from one lady to another. Some like it deep (or baritone), while others like the tiny type. I have friends and even my younger brother whose voice sounds kinda tiny. And from what I have come to realise, most girls like their voices that way. You know, they kinda fall for the voices they hear (tiny).

As for me, it's baritone for life! And on certain times, my voice can be very deep.

scantee: Good game from the lads, am happy messi got on the score sheet, as for Neymar guyz forget the hatrick, the guy is still far below my expectation, his decisions is letting him down so much, though the goals will be a moral boost.

Up next Europe....PSG our first bigest test of the season, i think the only changes we need from the team that played granada is Alba-Adrino Pedro-Munir. Xavi should retain the position, Iniesta should rest small because he is loosing it, he can come as sub to xavi if needs be.
Supported. Plus I would like to add Ter Stegen-Bravo.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by dmcdad:
Mcleo007: Add his assists too. He has 6‚ the highest in the league, followed closely by Koke with 5.
Messi has 7 assists in the league and not 6. He was on 5 before yesterday's game.

Assisted Ney's three goals before yesterday's match (2 against Bilbao and 1 against Levante). Assisted Sandro's 2 goals this far (Villareal and Levante). And he made two more yesterday.

Edited: It seems 6 is the official number. That would mean they didn't count the pass to Sandro against Villareal. Probably because it touched the goalkeeper.

I can't find Penaldo in the list. Ohh, I guess he would be on the next page.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by dmcdad: 10:22pm On Sep 27, 2014
Mcleo007: The whole essence is to give reward to the player who's influence (goals, assist , work rate etc) impacted the game the most. In a goal fest like today, and with L10 sharing equal number of goals and registering assists alongside, the bookies would give it to him. Like you said, it's just traditional but then, there are principles guiding every tradition.
Bro go and make research, there ain't any principle whatsoever guiding this. Infact, they didn't make room for eventualities like 2 or more players scoring a hat-trick in a match or some other criterion.

Well, that being said, it's all good though.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by dmcdad: 9:48pm On Sep 27, 2014
Mcleo007: Had L10 bagged a hat trick as well, he'd have been adjudged with the ball; he gave two assists. wink
It would have been a discretional decision from Neymar and not anyone else. That is, it would be between the both of em. Any agreement between them would suffice.

Like I stated earlier on, there is no rule whatsoever guiding the hat-trick thingy, it's just traditional.

onuwaje: Confused sha...
The thing is, there is no official rule guiding such eventuality. This is a traditional gesture in football and is not a law or something. But, common knowledge shows that the first person to score a hatrick gets the matchball for that say. Although, I think there have been cases where one(the first to net a hatrick) gives it to the other for reasons that are unknown to me.

Messi's 400th career goal was his 200th goal at Camp Nou. Second stadium is Madrid's Bernabeu, with 12 goals.

pixtuk: Leo Messiscores the 400th goal of his career. The FC Barcelonastar is still just 27. (Edit: And yes—he's already up to 401)
Watch the goal (with brilliant assist from Dani Alves): ble.ac/Messi400
Brilliant pass from Dani, but I would give it to Xavi there...

Of course... They can't share match ball, and two can't be given since football is played with just one ball on the pitch at any point in time.

Rakitic is a ..... shocked cool --- He is the "new heart" of Barca... cheesy
That guy is Busi, Xavi and some part of Iniesta all rolled into one. God bless him! Ivan for Life!

Well done Mathieu! Well done Masche! I don't see us conceding as usual. I guess maybe we would end the season without conceding. Would that be asking for too much?

How on earth will opponents leave him unmarked and yet he scores goals, people come on here and start making noise about bla bla bla... tongue grin

Only if he is marked like "Baba"... shocked grin --- He won't even score 5 goals in 5 Seasons... angry tongue --- He would be forced to retire... tongue
I don't agree with you. If he is marked like Baba, then he would score 20goals (19 penalties and 1 header) a season. You know, frustration would make him fall at every touch of the opponents. Infact, if them blow am breeze sef him go fall then cry for penalty.

See as he was given enough space to score... tongue --- It seems he is playing as a false 9 now... tongue

Yet some will compare him to a man that is man-marked and zonal marked by all players including goal keeper...shocked grin
Yeah... That's the new tactics employed by Carlo.. Used it in their last match and it worked fine for him, and I guess he might stick with it, or use it as an alternate plan.
