Romance › Re: STRICTLY FOR GUYS: Will You Take Back A Girl You Know 100% Has Cheated On You? by dmcdad: 8:20pm On Aug 05, 2014
andromida: The Devil you know is still a devil and its not even about looking for greener pastures its about looking for the right pasture for yourself and sometimes people are not bad they are just not right for you.

My point is instead of struggling to keep a relationship that is a wrong fit even to the point of marrying someone who is ok but not right for you its better to just let go and get the right fit. This is not to say some relationships are not worth fighting for and we should give up at every challenge that shows up, but once you are trying to fix, change someone, when a relationship is more stressful than peaceful, when you are always in pain then i don't see what anyone is working out the truth is a good relationship feels good you are not miserable most of the time and because of these good feelings and the fact that the lives of the people involved are enhanced they should proceed to marry.

No perfect persons but there are right fits and yeah we should not be too quick to make drastic decisions which is why i said were i the guy and i loved my gal who mistakenly cheated on me i might forgive her and take her back because if she cheated on me it goes to show the relationship was not as solid as i believed and i can maybe do better or forgive and let go anyhow remember no drastic decisions. smiley
Agreed! As for the emboldened, that was my initial point when I first quoted you; that it is better to want-out if you feel you can't take it any longer, than to cheat. I guess that was the genesis of our convo. Right?

Although I went further to encourage patience to a reasonable extent according to one's own discretion.

#Remember you are still owing me. cheesy
Romance › Re: STRICTLY FOR GUYS: Will You Take Back A Girl You Know 100% Has Cheated On You? by dmcdad: 5:17pm On Aug 05, 2014
andromida: 3 years shocked too much when its not marriage. In a dating scenario i recommend tops 3 months depending on the level of patience.

Fear of the unknown should not be mistaken for patience.
Hehehehehehehe. I wasn't only referring to relationships when I stated 3 years. As par your last sentence, you are right about that. But sometimes that too can be a saving grace. Heard of the saying "the devil you know..." you know the rest. Sometimes the grass is not always greener on the other side. We are often too shortsighted to realise that.

My point is, we shouldn't be too quick in making some drastic decisions. Relationship issues are sentitive in nature and as such, should be treated with care.
Romance › Re: STRICTLY FOR GUYS: Will You Take Back A Girl You Know 100% Has Cheated On You? by dmcdad: 4:21pm On Aug 05, 2014
andromida: How long should this from time to time be?
There is no definite time. It is discretional. The patience level in everyone ain't the same. You might be patient for a thing for a peeiod of one year and be done with it. Some other persons might be as patient for a longer period, maybe let's say 3 years. And some others too might not be patient for up to a month. So you see... It depends.

No matter how hard we try, we can't always endure the same things equally. And that is because we are different from one another. But it's good to try to be patient as much as possible.

Romance › Re: STRICTLY FOR GUYS: Will You Take Back A Girl You Know 100% Has Cheated On You? by dmcdad: 3:07pm On Aug 05, 2014
andromida: If a guy is not treating me right what should i do?
Everything can be treated with dialogue. You guys might just need to communicate, and then everything becomes normal again. If you get to talk it out with him from time to time and he fails to turn a new leave, then you opt out of the relationship. One of the fundamental factors that should not be neglected in a relationship is treating the other person rightly.

So like earlier stated, no excuse for cheating. If someone is not living up to expectations, you let the person know. If the person fail to make things better, then you want-out of the relationship. Yet, we should also know that patience can be a great virtue (the person might just need time). Nevertheless, if it becomes unbearable, then the only way out might just be to end everything.

I had a similar experience some 11 years ago during my WAEC. Infact, I'd rather not go into that. It was very painful, and each time I am in reminiscence of the past and I remember it, it hurts my heart albeit it's a long time ago.

I won't forgive myself if it ever happens again. By the way, it will never happen.

andromida: If I love her I will forgive her and take her back. Maybe I was not treating her right. Maybe it was a moment of weakness.
And that is a valid reason why she should cheat? Personally, no reason would justify cheating in my world, whether it's coming from a man or a woman. Like I stated in one thread sometime last week, we just look for cheap escape routes to justify our misdemeanours.

@Topic, it would be extremely difficult for me to forgive. Although I believe so much in forgiveness and in forgiving one another. In as much as I have a forgiving heart, it should be known also that unfaithfulness is what I detest most in any form of relationship. I hate it to my bone marrow, that I vowed not to be unfaithful to anyone I love.

So, it would be difficult but...

Confirmed! The deal should be closed before the end of tomorrow and will be officially announced Wednesday morning. His unveiling will be on Friday. I also read that Zubi wants Jenkinson albeit he just left Arsenal on loan to one of the Premiership sides. Don't doubt! With Zubi, anything us possible.

In other news...

I hope our Bavarian brothers read this. For them to know it isn't our fault that the TV right is being controlled by the 2 Spanish giants. Infact, on the other way round, it has been the fault of the smaller clubs.

Real Madrid and Barcelona could share La Liga cash with smaller clubs in new TV rights deal
Education › Re: Whats The Secret Behind Speaking Good English? by dmcdad: 4:27pm On Aug 04, 2014
MadCow1: 1. Read alot of Best Seller Novels.

2. Stop watching Nigerian Movies. #StopIt!

3. Watch more American Movies, preferably British movies (cos the Americans speak horrible english especially the Blacks).

4. Stop writing in short texts.. E.g: hw r u? It affects your spelling ability.

5. STop speaking Pidgin English entirely.
I subscribe to this... But I like pidgin sha. Maybe because I know it doesn't hamper my speaking or writing ability in any way.

Numer 4 is spot on. I personally find it annoying. Alot of people fail to realise the damage they do to themselves with "short-hand" writing.

^^^^ How? That's otherwise called a 3-5-2 formation and Pep used it a couple of times especially in the course of games. Like the match we played at the Bernabeu in Pep's last season, the one we won 3-1. He started the game with the usual 4-3-3 formation. And in the second half, he switched to a 3-5-2 formation and killed the game beyond Madrid's reach.

€14 million. The deal seems to have been sealed and should be revealed in the next 72hours.

As much as preseason matches are good for the coaches to test alot out. It doesn't really mean much because often times, teams end up cleaning the slate during preseason, while they fumble when the nitty-gritty comes around.

Madrid had lost their three preseason games. Does that mean they won't destroy teams come the new season? It doesn't at all!

So Sanogo can score 10 goals in one match. When season start, them go separate boys from men. cheesy

If Piqué were to be worthy, then I guess Puyol would have bestowed the number 5 jersey on him.

That tells alot for him to hand it over to Busi.

coded01: I initially rated him among the best defenders, maybe top 5 then but with the injuries that led Puyol to retire, it is really showed how lucky Pique has been to pair with the Great Puyol... angry --- Attache... grin angry grin

Infact Mascherano has also been the better player among the two only his height is just a minus for a defender... cool
I have never rated him high albeit at a time we nicknamed him Piqué bus stop. Guess Puyol was the inspiration behind his performances then.

I know I started complaining bitterly two seasons ago. And JP would always counter whatever I say about him. I guess he is happy that his favoured Piqué has been great thus far. I was the enemy then. I guess that would make me the what now...
