PoliticsNigerians Revolt Against Buhari’s Latest Appointments by DmgLoaded(op): 6:14pm On Oct 11, 2016
A social media revolt has trailed President Muhammadu Buhari’s nomination of two judges as justices of the Supreme Court.

Nigerians from other parts of the country have described Buhari’s nomination of two northern judges as justices of the Supreme Court as bias.
The social media backlash was triggered by news on Tuesday, October 11, after Buhari requested the Senate to consider and confirm the nomination two judges of the Supreme Court from the northern part of the country.
According to a letter from the president read by the Senate president, Bukola Saraki, the nominated judges are Sidi Bage, Nasarawa state, north central; and Paul Jauro, Taraba state, north east.

As soon as news filtered in about the president’s nominations, some Nigerians from other parts of the country passed a bias verdict on the list.

Comments that trailed the news on the nomination queried why names from the southern and eastern part of Nigeria are often omitted in most Buhari appointments.

Others suggested that the new appointment were tilted towards favouring the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration.
Meanwhile, chairman of the presidential advisory committee against corruption, Prof Itse Sagay (SAN), has accused senior lawyers of corrupting judges.

Sagay, reacting to the recent arrest and detention of two justices of the Supreme Court and two High Court judges by the DSS queried where the sum of N360m allegedly seized from one of the judge’s residence came from.

Sagay said respect for judges is based on their conduct, record and attitude, adding that when that conduct fails, then they have exposed themselves to the situation in which they are treated.

SportsHehe! Four Reasons Zambian Babes Were All Over Mikel Obi by DmgLoaded(op): 5:07pm On Oct 11, 2016
Following Nigeria’s 2 – 1 win over the Chipolopolo on Sunday in a 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifier, captain John Mikel Obi was mobbed by Zambian girls.

It took the intervention of the security men to rescue the handsome Chelsea player from the hands of the beautiful ladies.
And we know they girls were also over the Chelsea midfielder. Here are four possible reasons Mikel Obi was mobbed.

1. Autographs: Here is the main reason reported by various media as to why the girls mobbed the Chelsea star. Hopefully Mikel Obi has a nice signature.

2. Marriage: Everyone knows
Mikel is yet to be married despite his long term relationship with Russian Olga Diyachenko. Which Zambian lady wouldn’t want to get married to a Chelsea and Super Eagles star. Nothing is impossible.

3. Sex: Footballers travel a lot and their escapades make front page news due to their celebrity and hero status to millions of fans. A one night stand with a huge star like Mikel Obi will be the pinnacle of the career of many ‘chicks’.

4. Money: The Chelsea midfielder is rich, and at obviously the ladies could want to take something from him, from his jersey to his boot, they are all precious.
A player like Mikel will move around with come cash and some of then women must have thought he could be swayed by seeing too many cleavages to lose his guard.

CelebritiesBaba Suwe Is Critically Sick by DmgLoaded(op): 3:53am On Oct 09, 2016
Versatile Yoruba language comic actor, Alhaji Nurudeen Babatunde Omidina otherwise known as Baba Suwe is critically sick.
The sickness according to close associates is as a result of the torture he went through in the hands of the NDLEA operatives years ago when he was nabbed at the airport on suspicion of carrying hard drugs.
In a statement by actor and filmmaker, Yomi Fabiyi while calling on senior colleagues to act fast, Baba Suwe has not been fine for a while now and his health is deteriorating at an alarming rate.

“The torture done on him by NDLEA is vastly damaging his health at an alarming rate.
“He told me he no longer feel comfortable since that episode,” Fabiyi wrote on Instagram.

The actor further blamed Baba Suwe’s predicament on the National Drug
Enforcement Agency, condemning their uncivilized way of handling the matter after his arrest.
Fabiyi wrote, “He told me when I visited him that he is innocent of the accusations and yet a long pipe was inserted through his anus, he was detained for too long amongst other things just because he was randomly suspected like every normal person.

In my opinion, only lazy, ill-trained, unfit and uncivilised officers torture in the name of investigation.

Torture is criminal and sinful. If this accusation is found to be true by independent investigators, it shouldn’t go unpunished.”
Babatunde Omidina was arrested in August 2013 at the Muritala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos while traveling to Paris on a scheduled Air France flight.
He was later released many days later after nothing incriminating was found on him.
He consequently dragged the drug enforcement agency to court where he was awarded a sum of N25 million but the NDLEA refused to honour the penalty.

The actor lost his wife, Monsurat Omodina also called Moladun Kenkelewu in September 2009 and according to Yomi Fabiyi “Baba Suwe is a widower, he can hardly walk properly as I speak, let alone go to film.
How will he feed and take care of the children aunty Moladun left behind?” He quizzed.
