Business10 Ways Nigerians Can Make Money From The Internet by Dobbes(op): 2:27pm On Sep 25, 2020
Many Nigerian youths dream of becoming a millionaire by working from the comfort of their homes.

Looking at the present economic situation in Nigeria, perhaps you’re already desirous to earning extra income. Don’t worry, we’ll show you how Nigerians can earn money from the Internet.

Over the last two decades, the internet has become a place for making money and realizing your financial independence goals by merely using your laptop or a mobile device.

The most significant advantage of working online is that you’re the boss, having more control of your time and work session.

Contrary to what you’ll hear from most people, internet jobs demand a little hard work and patience.

While it’s pretty easy to earn revenue online, you’ll start small and watch your business blossom overtime.

Whether you’ll be selling an idea or promoting other people’s goods and services, the return you’ll get will be worth the effort.

So, stick around let’s show you 10 ways to make money online here in Nigeria.

Freelancing
Do you want to know how many Nigerians are freelancers? Though this is a good question, we can’t tell you the exact number because it keeps increasing on a daily. But, millions of Nigerians earn money online via various freelance websites. The good news is that there’s job for everyone. Everything is dependent on your skills and attitude to work.

Freelancing is a platform where you meet clients who’ll pay for whatever services you can offer. Sometimes, you don’t need to be highly skillful.

You only need a basic idea of what you’re to do and be ready to work as the offers pour in.

We recommend you find an area you’re passionate about, sign up on any freelance site, and start working.

Besides creating online content for websites, people will often pay you to proofread documents, manage sites, develop resumes, build apps, writing projects, etc.

You can achieve all these and more by signing up with Fiverr, Upwork, Freelancer.

Blogging
As a Nigerian, interested in making money even in sleep, getting a personal blog is the way to go. It doesn’t cost much to build your site.

Besides, if you’re a DIY type, you can launch one in less than an hour with the help of a few YouTube videos.

Blogging offers you the opportunity to showcase your talents to the world while you’re getting paid as more people click on your pages.

You can blog about news, entertainment, politics, food, religion, etc.

Selling Ebook
Still looking for ways Nigerians can earn money from the internet? Selling Ebook can turn your fortunes around.

If there’s anything you can relate about Nigerians, it’s their industrious spirit.

Take this up, and see yourself overcoming every financial difficulty.

So, how can a Nigerian make money online by selling Ebook?

If you’re considering writing a book on a subject of choice, you can start making money by selling it as an ebook before pushing the copies into the market.

It’ll interest you that the world is becoming paperless, and many people are spending more time on the screen than on hardcopy materials.

If you’ve got a good idea or story to tell, you can get high returns by selling the softcopy online.

Affiliate Marketing
You can earn thousands of dollars monthly by promoting brands and services on your web pages.

Once you’ve signed up for the company’s affiliate program, your next task is listing the company in your write-up using your marketing code.

From there, you get paid when someone buys their products or services using your link.

Vlogging
If you’ve got an interest in making videos, then you’re not far from Vlogging. Once you’ve developed a concept, the next thing is opening a YouTube or Instagram account and keep uploading your videos.

Many people will tell you to keep uploading good videos, but who determines which video is good or not?

Sometimes you don’t have to make sense for everyone; if you love what you’re doing, tell the world about it on the camera.

Photography
Another way to earn from the internet as a Nigerian is by selling pictures online.

There are a lot of pix sites that are looking for photos to buy. Besides, news sites and blogs need these images.

So, if you’ve got a passion for photography, start taking photographs of your environment, seashore, forest, market, roads, etc.; your buyer might be out there waiting for your next post.

Sponsored Ads
Do you know you can earn a fortune through sponsored posts for those of us with massive social media following or websites?

How can you start? Many companies are willing to pay for you to advertise their offers on your web or social media pages.

So, if you have huge fans on your blog, Facebook, and Instagram, you can cash in here.

Online Tutorials
Looking for ways Nigerians can earn money from the internet legitimately? Online tutorials is the big offer.

Are you good with web development, ethical hacking, cooking, phone repairs, mathematics, etc.?

Someone out there wants to get a piece of your idea while you get paid. You can create a Facebook or WhatsApp page to lecture your visitors and, in turn, get paid.

Consulting
If you’re a professional in any field, you’ll find people who’re willing to pay you to get more information on their goals and aspirations.

Sometimes, people need your opinion about their problems, and if you’re good at advising in a specific area of need, you’ll be solving many issues.

Remember, there are a lot of persons looking for someone to listen to and could advise them accordingly.

E-Commerce Website
You can create your website for marketing physical products to persons anywhere on the globe.

If you don’t have enough resources to move the items from the warehouse to the buyer, a third-party could help take the orders from the manufacturer to the final consumer.

You don’t have to compete with standard sites like eBay or Amazon, carve your niche, set your goals right, and get to work.

You can add yours

EducationRe: How The 36 States Got Their Names In Nigeria by Dobbes(m): 6:51pm On Apr 26, 2020
I disagree with the OP about origin of the name Akwa Ibom. The state is named after the almighty God (Ibom)...It is believed that Ibom owns the river (qua iboe) or lives there. So the complete name is Akwa Abasi Ibom State... meaning state of the almighty God...

HealthRe: Uber Driver That Carried The Italian Coronavirus Patient In Nigeria Speaks by Dobbes(m): 12:08pm On Feb 28, 2020
MagicBishop:
The origin of the pandemic is Wuhan, China.

Wuhan is home to China's first Bio-Security Lab 4 - the highest security research lab that requires WHO certification.

The lab was commissioned to study highly virulent pathogens like Ebola, SARS, Lassa Fever, etc.

The lab's security is not limited to keeping non authorized personnel out but also preventing accidentally leaks from earthquakes and flooding. The French designed and built this lab and made accommodation for earthquakes even though the lab site is not cited in an earthquake zone.

Patient zero happens to be a scientists working at the lab. The Chinese govt first claimed she got infected after visiting the wild life market in Wuhan that deals in exotic animals. This was latter debunked.

The virus was actually stolen by the Chinese from a similar Bio-Security Lab-4 in Canada.

It is believed the Canadians were the ones that developed the virus.

The virus was bio-engineered as weapon and the crazy chinks accidentally leaked it on their own people.
