In January, I saw someone on Nairaland advertising that he is from a venom extraction company and that they buy live scorpions, stag beetles, spiders, etc at very high prices. For example, I think scorpions were to be bought at ₦600,000 each.

When I contacted the number, he sent me videos on WhatsApp where they appeared to be extracting venom from scorpions.

I went about looking for these animals. But when I got them and informed the supposed buyer, he asked me to buy a certain chemical and pour on them ahead of them coming to pick them. I looked for the chemical everywhere but didn't see. When I told him, he said I should send him money (₦6,000) to buy the chemical for me. But he never said that in his advert. Rather, he said they needed these animals so much that, as soon as I caught a certain number (like 2 scorpions) they would come to pick them within 24 hours.

Because of this, I sensed a scam.

The Bible tells us that "we should pray ALWAYS" (Luke 18:1). So, it's not just about praying for a million hours but praying ALWAYS.

You can pray ALWAYS if you understand that prayer is the lifting of our heart and mind to God. In other words, you should come to a point where you're permanently CONSCIOUS of the Presence of God in and around you.

This shouldn't lead to eccentricities such as I see in many so-called prayer warriors. Instead, it should be a normal life: Every point of CREATION should remind me about the CREATOR. Indeed, I should be ONE in consciousness with my Creator.

That being said, I'm not discountenancing what you shared. On the contrary, I appreciate you really much for the reminder to give myself permanently to prayer. There's no better life than this. Thanks a lot.

He had a group of women who waited on him. He performed his first miracle at the instance of his mother, meaning he held his mother in high esteem.
