Am a silent reader on this thread except for like a question which I did not get answer to. I just want to tell anybody that can still make July admission to try as much as possible to apply for their visas latest by June 30 cos the rules are changing for student visa after then. You will need to have like 90k aud in the account for like a year I heard and the rule starts July 1st. All the assessment levels will now be one(ssvf). Anybody that has heard can enlighten people more. You can apply for visa this month even if your school starts next year. The most important thing is to apply before 30th of this month. Just wanted to share this with u guys

Thanks everyone for the contribution and the knowledge that has been passed across on this thread. I'm a 26 year old graduate of biochemistry.
I have a 4 year work experience in a federal hospital and I'm planning on applying for PR(subclass 190). I want to do my advisory assessment next week with vetasses but i discovered that most state/territory do not have a need for a biochemist.
I would be grateful if someone could advise me on an occupation that I could choose that would still be related to biochemistry as biochemistry seems difficult to get in most territory. Thanks in advance
