I have 700 thousand naira and I want to put it into something that worth it. I'm not a bad spender which means I might not even touch the money and I don't also want it to just be in my account as Nigerian bank will mess it up for me with their unlimited charges. Please what business can I do with it in Nigeria either online or physically. BTW I'm not in Nigeria. |
I have been to different hotels home and abroad but I have never seen where any other color of towel and bedspread used except white. So why is it always white? |
Affiliate01:It's a yes but it all depends on quantity, quality and where you want to buy from. |
Do you find it too expensive to fix that broken phone or laptop screen of yours due to high exchange rate leading to increase in price of everything. Also do wish to buy things from abroad but the restrictions on the naira card is holding you back. Worry less about that as I am available to help out with it. Just send a DM and you are good to go. |

It's like a milestone for them reaching that stage which is a step at head for them in football. |
I remember we normally deal with these things with petrol then. Put petrol inside bottle with small hole on the lid. Follow the ants line spraying the petrol. At the end just light it. All you will hear is boom 💥 By the way no be now sha as fuel be gold |
Goodnewsforlife:Like I said, no matter how good government is anywhere, people will still be people because they can't all be satisfied. |
Government get 98% because the power to make everything right is in their hands. Doing things right will checkmate any religious excesses and people will always want to do the right because failure to do so leads to punishment. The people get 2% because no matter how good a governance is, people will still commit crime. |
Giving reasons for your answers or arranging them accordingly based on percentage, which of these is really Nigerian problem. 1. Government 2. Religion 3. The people. |
I recently watched a documentary on how the USA and UK catches drug smugglers at their borders. I found out that most of us that has complained of being thoroughly searched at the point of entry due to our green passport/country don't even know why we are being searched or we know but just trying to form engagements. I believe experts can shed more light on this. I found out that the immigration or whoever they may be of that particular country even in Nigeria works on 1. Tip-off A particular plane is coming from let say Nigeria and there is a tip-off that there is possiblity of a smuggler on it. The person is not known but everyone on board is a suspect. Due to this, all eyes would be on everyone as they deboard. So a special search will be carried out. 2. Behavior/Body language They work more on ones body language because that alone is enough for them to nail one as a suspect. From fidgeting to shaky hands, sweating, different shoe sizes, type of bag, yawning even if you are hungry and many others will make them stop you for an interrogation. Example was a Nigerian lady that was being interrogated due to how she was behaving. Officer: Where are you going Lady: Bristol Officer: Do you have a family/friend there? Lady: No Officer: Where are you going to stay there? Lady: I will take a taxi to anywhere to lodge Officer: You don't know where are going follow me. Her luggage was thoroughly searched but nothing was found. Officer: So how are you going to sort yourself in Bristol? Lady: I will call my brother's friend Two different things now. Officer: I'm sorry I will have to carry out a body scan on you. I could see the frustration on her face but after the scan, nothing was found on her. Even though she was handled over to another unit due to her inconsistent response about her destination, she was later allowed to go as they found out she was a student. ( I was very happy for her). Samething happened to a business man that was fidgeting and sweating after take Viagra to calm himself down. All they thought was that he might have swallowed something which is now making him act that way. He was thoroughly searched and nothing was found. 3. Scanner/Sniffing dog information If one Carry ordinary Love Machine and the scanner detects it as something dangerous or the sniffing dogs indicates there is something in the luggage, that person can ever escape being searched. This is just make us understand that, being searched at any country's point of entry has nothing to do with passport/country, and that it's a normal thing everywhere in the world. Naija isn't even into this smuggling of a thing compared to some countries that are generally known for it. Imagine them having this our mentality of our passport is a red flag anywhere. Even countries that have been marked with terrorism don't complain like us. I believe we can all work together to make Nigeria better as we enter year 2024. Happy New Year in advance.

Emu4life:One thing we fail to know is that ....the understanding of your religion to yourself is the same as to my religion until we decide to learn about each other's religion |
There was no specific date for the birth of Jesus but from every explanation of the time/season, one can deduce the period is a match. Also, there is nothing wrong in picking a day in a year to celebrate the birth of he that came to safe the world if we can as well celebrate his death and resurrection. Afterall, every religion has different doctrines. |
Good day people, as a Nigerian abroad (in the field of construction/project management), can one use the experience of ọmọ onílẹ̀ (land owners/grabbers) back home to answer interview questions especially on challenges face. Asking because I recently saw online where someone said she talked about doing paramilitary training back home instead of NYSC during her interview and she got the job. |

Hello everyone, please I'm in need of a job for my twin brother. Not that I have a very good paying job but it's better than nothing and I feel sad seeing him having nothing to do. He's learning electrical work but I just want him to have something that will at least earn him something. He's done with his nysc. He's outspoken, linguistics, ability to manage any office environment and he can do any work that is legal according to Nigerian law. He stays in Ìbàdàn, Ọ̀yọ́ State. If you have any offer, please let me know. God be with you all. |
I've seen tread and comments mostly against japa and rent is one of those things being talked about. I noticed people just come up with 'how can one be paying 450 pounds a month on rent when 300k will get one an apartment a year in Naija without considering something. I'm not here to preach exchange rate because that's what we all do most time. Most of us decided to forget these countries experiences Summer and winter which can be at the extreme most time. Also, most of these apartments comes fully furnished to the basic things needed which includes water, electricity, gas, internet and others unlike what we have in Nigeria because I have never seen a furnished apartment put out to let at the rate of 400k a month. Few years back I rented a 1,200 Yuan 2 bedroom apartment in china. The main room had a 193 X 203cm orthopedic mattress. The only thing absent from that apartment was the mattress for the second room which the person I rented it to gladly got himself. Second month to my staying there, the fridge stopped working. The landlord brought in a new one the second day I made the complaint. The house is kept warm during the winter and there is AC for the summer. The bills which I take care of myself is around 250. {internet 100 monthly, gas around 50 because I cook to sell from home, water every 6months can't remember and light around 90-100). BTW, exchange rate was around 75-80 naira then for the calculators. This might not be same everywhere but recently, everything has become more expensive everywhere. Using UK which is mostly the focal point of japa discussion recently, a 460 pounds a month apartment with bills included is not something someone in Nigeria should be bothered about because it's not just about the money, it's the service one get with the money. Someone made mention of a good apartment of 300k a year in Naija in one of the treads without adding the amount that would be spent on electricity, gas, internet subscription, fuel for generator for the one year. Also the amount spent on setting the house i.e electronics, furniture and other things. If all these are calculated, we are all going to see the difference is just small. I might not be making much sense to many but I just feel I should share what I think when it comes to 'how can one be paying that kind of amount on house alone monthly. |
Please, how do one track his Visa application process. Thanks |
Right from time I know it as pomo and yes that's what I feel everyone calls it which I know it's not the truth. But what is it called in your own local dialect.

membranus:I need a job please. I'm available to travel anywhere. |
I'm a graduate of urban and Regional planning and I'm looking forward to doing my Masters abroad, but I'm a bit confused on which area/course I should study. This is because anything relating to environment in Nigeria isn't given the required seriousness compare to other areas and also I'd love to switch to another area of specialization. The other concern is that I'm not very sure if it's possible to just pick up a course from another field without having any certification relating to such field. (e.g Information Technology). Your candid advise are needed please. |
I have someone I'm planning on partnering with in Abuja to start up a small logistics business. We need to do some local government regulations for the bikes but I'm not closeby and I'm not use to Abuja like that. I ought to have been there but the registration needs to be done before I get there and to be on the safer side, I need to be sure the amount given to me is not a made-up amount. Thanks |
Ocholu:Thank you so much for this. |
Hello guys, I was opportuned to travel abroad few years ago. I was doing fine and decided to get married. Few months after the wedding to my wife, I was sent back home due to a reason I don't wanna talk about. I got back and family members want me to go to another country which my wife is against because she feels rushing to another country immediately isn't the right decision. She's doing averagely well there and she plans to return home in 6 months time as she doesn't have the strength going away from naija again. She wants me to do a business (Uber one out of few) and she's ready to support in the start up. I've also got few things in mind but I'm a little confused as my wife has told me she's not ready to travel anywhere again even with me. I need advise guys on what to do in business wise and every other thing. |
